Endres Thinks Long, Ends Up Thinking Right

Level 5 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Heads-up on a board of 32A6, Oleg Mandzjuk bet 18,000 from the button and Steffen Endres called in the small blind.

The turn was the 9 and Mandzjuk bet another 40,000. Endres went into the tank for nearly five minutes until putting in the chips to call.

"Nice call," Mandzjuk said as he showed K10 for a bluff. Endres turned over AJ and took in the pot.

"Why so long?," Mandzjuk wondered after the hand.

Moritz Forces the Fold with a Big River Shove

Level 4 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Michal Riczak opened the action from under the gun with a raise to 1,300, attracting five callers.

On the 846 flop, the action checked around to Christoph Moritz on the button, who fired a bet of 2,700. Roman Hanus, in the small blind, was the only one to call, while the rest folded.

The 9 turn saw Hanus take the lead with a 5,500 bet, but Moritz responded by raising to 21,000, which Hanus called.

When the J river hit, Hanus checked, and Moritz made a bet 100,000, putting Hanus to the test. After a long tank, Hanus decided to fold, giving Moritz the pot without a showdown.
