Blom Loses More in Three-Way Three-Bet Pot

Level 4 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante
Viktor Blom
Viktor Blom

Tom-Aksel Bedell opened up the action with a raise to 1,200 in early position, holding A8. Yohay Bullkich called his KJ in the cutoff before Viktor Blom pumped it up to 6,500 in the big blind with AQ.

Both Bedell and Bullkich called. Blom continued for 7,600 on the K6Q flop, folding out Bedell but being called by Bullkich. The 9 turn was checked by both players, after which the 9 river was put on the table.

Blom checked to Bullkich again, who bet 5,600. Blom tanked for a bit and then folded his second pair, correctly laying it down against Bullkich's top pair.

There were already around 90,000 chips in the pot on a board of Q46Q3 when Markus Lehner checked it over to Arturo Paduano, who fired 39,000. Lehner took around three minutes before he finally elected to call.

Paduano flipped QJ for trip jacks, and Lehner revealed his AA before they were turned face down by the dealer.

Fariss Ebolheb saw 99 in early position and raised to 1,300. David Wintersberger defended his big blind with Q8, leading to a flop of Q9K.

Wintersberger checked, Ebolheb bet a near pot-sized 3,200, with his set and Wintersberger called. Ebolheb over-bet the A turn for 11,600, which did not deter Wintersberger from check-calling.

Daniele Vesco
Daniele Vesco

Mallory Frere opened to 1,500 from middle position and Daniele Vesco called from the small blind. Peter Bosen shoved from the big blind for 25,700, which got Frere to fold. Vesco mulled it over for a few seconds, then stuck in the call, which put Bosen at risk.

Bosen was in the lead but still had to sweat the runout. However, Bosen needn't have worried as the dealer ran a board of 2J846, which kept his ace-king in the lead.
