Slacanac Runs Into Scherle's Set

Level 11 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Fabian Scherle had a bet of 30,000 in front of him on the button with the flop showing J98 and Marco Slacanac raised to 56,000 in the big blind. Scherle pondered the decision for a few minutes before moving all in, and Slacanac called for around 30,000 more.

Marco Slacanac: J8 All in
Fabian Scherle: 99

Slacanac showed two pair, but Scherle had a set of nines and held up on the K turn and 7 river to send Slacanac to the rail.

"You cannot fold a set there," tablemate Rachid El Yaacoubi told him.

Grax Runs Into House

Level 11 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Arriving on a completed board of K5569, big blind Egor Procop put Sebastien Grax in middle position all-in for 75,000. The pot amounted to 70,000 before that, and Grax tanked for a minute.

Eventually, he slammed in a call. Procop tabled 95 for a full house. Grax tried to muck his K10 but the dealer flipped it up as per the rules. He quickly took his exit, seeing Procop chip up to more than 100 big blinds.

Rollercoaster of Emotions For Passaro

Level 11 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Gabriele Passaro had gotten his stack of around 60,000 into the middle and Philipp Hartwig had shoved behind for 180,000. Marcello Manganiello was contemplating whether to call but elected to fold and showed AK face up.

Gabriele Passaro: 77 All in
Philipp Hartwig: AK

"Nooo," said Passaro as he saw the A in the window of the flop.

"YESSSSS," he shouted as the 47 followed it, which improved him to a set. However, Hartwig had picked up a flush draw and completed it on the 2 turn, yet Passaro hadn't seen it as he had turned away from the table upon realizing he hit a set. When Passaro turned back, he saw the J land on the river and then understood that he had been eliminated.
