Curatolo Flushes Two Away

Level 13 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Boris Kuzmanovic shoved all in for 16,000 in early position. Bruno Desimoni called in the hijack, as did Nolan Curatolo in the big blind.

Curatolo check-called Desimoni's bet of 17,000 on the 353 flop. Curatolo checked again on the 10 turn, after which Desimoni committed the rest of his 75,000.

Curatolo snap called, putting both opponents at risk.

Curatolo's River Bet Gets a Fold From Kamel

Level 13 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

With around 67,000 in the pot on a flop of Q102, Tamer Kamel checked from early position and then called a bet of 22,000 from Nolan Curatolo, who was seated in middle position.

Both players checked when the Q hit the turn, which saw the 5 drop on the river. Kamel checked and the Curatolo bet 55,000. Kamel thought it over for a few moments before he elected to fold his hand.

Matei Lupascu

Adrian Cazacu bet 27,000 from the hijack on a board of 59710 and Matei Lupascu came back with a raise to 93,000 in the big blind. Cazacu called.

The river was the 8 and Lupascu moved all in. Cazacu had around 400,000 remaining and counted out his stack several times as he took several minutes before folding.

"Show the bluff. It's good for the game," tablemate Patrik Jaros said, but Lupascu returned his cards face down.

"This guy bluffs every hand. Four-bet, five-bet. One time he seven-bet folded," Jaros added.

Gumz Gets a Rude Welcome; Angelov, Astedt Reunite

Level 13 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Daniel Rezaei bet 8,000 from middle position on a flop of 277 and Edgaras Kausinis raised to 20,000 in the big blind. Rezaei called and the Q fell on the turn.

Kausinis slowed down and checked, then folded when Rezaei bet 13,000.

The next hand, Fabian Gumz, who had just moved to this table, opened to 10,000 under the gun and Rezaei three-bet to 30,000.

"How did I know this was going to happen?" Gumz said.

"We don't f**k around at this table," Niklas Astedt added.

"We were roommates at a poker trip to Uruguay. We both make the final table and he said he'll stay away from me. He then three-bets me three times in a row," Gumz said as he folded.

Boris Angelov also joined this table as he was reunited with fellow 2024 WSOP Main Event finalist Astedt. "I think they gave me the wrong ticket," Angelov joked.

Kausinis then raised to 10,000 on the button, Angelov three-bet to 36,000 in the small blind, Kausinis moved all in for 95,000, and Angelov snap-called.

Edgaras Kausinis: QJ All in
Boris Angelov: A2

Kausinis hit top pair on the Q23 flop to take the lead. "Four," Angelov pleaded, but he missed the 9 turn and 9 river as Kausinis doubled up.
