The action was picked up on a turn of 8♦6♣A♥. Monika Zukowicz placed a bet of 110,000 from the big blind. Paulius Vaitiekunas called in the cutoff, growing the pot to over 450,000 in size.

The Q♦ river then completed the board. Zukowicz put Vaitiekunas all-in for his last 175,000 or so and was quickly called.

She tabled 8♥8♠ for a set of eights, besting the A♠K♣ of Vaitiekunas. His top pair was no good and he quickly vacated the tournament area.

Simon Wilson raised to 25,000 under the gun before Adrian Ziemichod moved all in for 282,000 in the hijack. Petr Svoboda on the button peeked at his cards and let out an exasperated sigh as he folded, while Wilson snap-called once action went back to him.

"Ace-queen I folded," Svoboda said. The flop came Q♣9♣5♣ and Svoboda buried his face in his hands as he would've hit top pair. The 10♠ turn was safe for Ziemichod, while the K♥ river gave Wilson a pair but also improved Ziemichod to a straight and earned him a double up.

Both players checked a board of K♦A♥3♦2♥J♥ all the way to the river and Peluso took down the pot with J♠10♠ for a rivered pair of jacks, as Pilhofer showed 10♥10♦.

Zamani was dominated, but that soon changed as the Q♠6♣A♦ flop gave him a set to take a big lead. Neither the 4♦ turn nor the 3♠ river brought a ten for Peluso, securing Zamani's double-up to an above-average stack.

Meanwhile, Zoltan Vrancsik was less fortunate as he had lost all of his chips and was eliminated from the tournament seven spots from the money.

Ko Chases Away Kinno From a Massive Pot, No Second Run For Tocci

Michele Tocci moved all in for 70,000 on the button and Nadir Kinno raised to 136,000 in the small blind. David Dongwoo Ko then reraised to 455,000 in the big blind and Kinno folded, claiming he had two tens.

Tocci hit top pair on the A♥10♣6♥ flop, but Ko spiked a set as Kinno flung his arms in the air after seeing he would've also hit a better set. The K♥ turn gave Tocci a straight draw, but Ko filled up on the K♠ river to send last year's third-place finisher to the rail a few spots off the money.

"Why do you not just flat?" Kinno said to Ko as they joined the field on break.
