Kostner Almost Quadruples Up After Cracking the Aces of Bueno & Surkamp

Level 24 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Stefan Kostner
Stefan Kostner

Patrick Bueno had made it 60,000 and Stefan Kostner had called on the button before Florian Surkamp made it 155,000 from the small blind. Nebojsa Musulin then cold-called from the big blind and Bueno made it 500,000. Kostner called off his stack of 250,000, and Surkamp shoved for 855,000. Musulin folded, and Bueno quickly called.

Stefan Kostner: J10108 All in
Florian Surkamp: AAQ7 All in
Patrick Bueno: AA73

Bueno had a chance to eliminate two players in a huge pot but would need some help as his seven-three to go with his aces didn't have any suits. Kostner was looking to almost quadruple up and did just that as the runout of QJ496 gave him a straight. Bueno and Surkamp chopped the side pot with pocket aces.

Slanzi Doubles Again; Surkamp Shoves on Bueno

Level 24 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Davide Slanzi and William Trumm were heads-up on a flop of Q73 when Slanzi moved all in for 230,000 from the button and Trumm called in the cutoff.

Davide Slanzi: KKJ9 All in
William Trumm: AQ86

Slanzi was ahead with his kings but Trumm hit the A on the turn to make two pair. The river, though, was the 10 and Slanzi made a straight to double up.

At another table, Patrick Bueno bet 90,000 from the button on a board of 8759 and Florian Surkamp called in the big blind.

The river was the J and Surkamp bet 400,000, enough to put Bueno all in. Bueno tanked for several minutes before folding as Surkamp took the pot.
