Bob Bielen kicked off the action with an under the gun raise to 80,000, followed by Iman Ghashayar in middle position, who responded with a three-bet to 240,000. Georg Strebel, down to his last 55,000, decided to shove all in. The action returned to Bielen, who called Ghashayar's three-bet, and the three went to the flop.

The dealer revealed J♠9♠10♥, but both Bielen and Ghashayar opted to check, carrying their cautious play through the K♥ turn as well.

When the 5♥ hit the river, Bielen broke the silence with a bet of 215,000. Ghashayar thought it over for a while but unwillingly folded his A♥Ax, disappointed by the missed opportunity. Bielen then revealed Q♥Q♦, showing a straight, sending Strebel to the rail with his 5x4x.

Azulay caught the K♦ in the window, but it was followed by 10♥5♠ as Stann spiked a set. The rest of the board ran out 9♣8♠ and Stann doubled up.

The dealer initially counted Stann's stack as 705,000, but Stann pointed out he actually had 780,000 and a recount confirmed Stann's amount.

"Bravo, you know you're own stack," tablemate Rachid El Yaacoubi told him.

Christopher Campisano raised to 60,000 from middle position and Florian Sarnow called from the hijack.

The two players went to a flop of 10♠5♠Q♠ which was checked through to the 9♠ turn. Campisano bet 80,000, and Sarnow called.

A Q♥ came on the river and both players checked it down, with Campisano showed K♠Q♣ for a flush, and Sarnow flashed K♣J♣ for a straight before he mucked.

All three players checked the 7♥J♥4♥ flop to see the 8♣ come on turn. After the action checked to Azulay, he bet 125,000 and got two folds from his opponents. Kunze was kind enough to show just the Q♠ for nothing as the pot was pushed toward him.

Demasi Spikes the River For a Fortunate Double

Lasha Zamtaradze raised to 100,000 in early position and Simone Demasi three-bet to 450,000 in middle position, leaving around 75,000 behind. Zamtaradze called and they saw the flop come A♠10♠2♥.

Zamtaradze then put Demasi all in, and Demasi took his time until the clock was called. The countdown nearly reached zero until he put his last chips in the middle.

Demasi was on a straight draw against Zamtaradze's top pair. The turn was the 2♠, but Demasi caught the J♥ on the river to make his straight and double up.

Luigi Pignataro had limped in from the small blind and Besmir Dini made it 115,000 out of the big blind. Pignataro called.

On the 10♠3♥2♥ flop, Pignataro check-called a bet of 80,000 from Dini, then they both checked the Q♠ turn.

When the 9♥ dropped on the river, Pignataro checked, then Dini instantly reached for chips and bet 105,000. Pignataro was thinking for some time then grabbed chips to call, and as he did, Dini swiftly picked up his cards and was prepared to show. Pignataro then put his chips back into his stack to think some more, but eventually did put in calling chips.

Dini then showed 9♠9♣ for a set, and Pignataro mucked.

At another table, Florian Duta ended Vivian Saliba's hopes for a second bracelet this week. According to Duta, he cracked Saliba's kings with ace-seven in a blind-versus-blind battle to send her to the rail.
