Thomas Eychenne raised to 240,000 from the cutoff and Frederic Marechal three-bet to 600,000 from the button. After the blinds folded, Eychenne four-bet to 1,300,000 and Marechal five-bet jammed for 3,570,000. Eychenne snap-called to put Marechal at risk.

Eychenne would move over the ten-million chip mark if his cowboys could hold up. However, the poker gods had other plans as the 10♦4♥2♦ flop put Marechal firmly in the lead with top set. The 3♥ turn and 9♠ river didn't change anything and Marechal doubled up through Eychenne.

Cappiello decided to lead out for 425,000, receiving a call from Ghashayar. He then sized up to 600,000 on the 2♠ turn.

This time, Ghashayar let his cards go as forfeited some chips to the leader of the field.

Eychenne checked to Duta on the 9♠8♣5♠ flop, after which the latter bet 275,000. Eychenne called to the Q♠ turn, where he check-called a bet of 400,000 from Duta.

The A♥ river was knuckled by both, leading to a showdown. Eychenne showed a Qx, but Duta quickly tabled A♣J♥ to take down the pot with his superior pair.

Stephen Nahm called from the small blind before Adrian Cazacu raised to 325,000 out of the big blind. Nahm limp-raised to 900,000 and after doing a bit of inventory, Cazacu shoved for 4,250,000. Nahm instantly called.

Cazacu would need a miracle if he were to remain in the tournament. The flop of J♥7♠10♥ offered a glimmer of hope to Cazacu in the form of top pair. However, the 2♦ turn meant only a jack on the river could save him, and when the dealer peeled of the J♦ on the river to give Cazacu trips, he erupted in excitement by shouting

"Yes! Yes!, I'm the f#%king worst!"

Nahm remained stoic as ever while the majority of his chips were sent over to Cazacu.

Luigi Pignataro had open-raised preflop and Rachid El Yaacoubi had defended his big blind when El Yaacoubi checked the A♥6♥4♥ flop to his opponent.

Pignataro put in a bet of 355,000 and El Yaacoubi matched that bet. Both were checking the 10♥ turn before Pignataro put in 745,000 on the 7♠ river.

El Yaacoubi immediately flicked in a calling chip but mucked his cards just as fast when Pignataro tabled K♥10♠ for the nut flush.
