Krause Flops Jackpot to Double

Level 28 : Blinds 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

After Andreas Krause defended from the big blind to a Candido Cappiello open from under the gun and the two players saw a flop of K7J. After some betting and raising all of Krause's 3,800,000 got into the middle with Cappiello making the call to try and bust him.

Krause was way ahead with his set of sevens and only running cards could send him to the rail. The 5 turn cemented his double up through Cappiello, as the Q came on the river.

Thomas Eychenne raised to 320,000 in the cutoff and Luigi Pignataro three-bet to 1,250,000 in the big blind. Eychenne moved all in and Pignataro called for 2,250,000.

Alen Sabic raised to 325,000 in the cutoff and Candido Cappiello called in the big blind. Cappiello checked the 729 flop to Sabic, with the latter putting in a bet of 250,000.

Cappiello called to the K turn, where he check-called a bet of 675,000 from his opponent.

The J river was then checked down. Cappiello tabled 87 for a pair of sevens, taking down the pot when Sabic tossed his cards into the muck.

Di Giacomo Enters Danger Zone

Andreas Krause limped in from the small blind and Claudio Di Giacomo checked his option in the big blind.

On the 868 flop, Krause bet out for 300,000. Di Giacomo then raised to 750,000 before Krause quickly three-bet shoved.

Di Giacomo had a stack of 2,350,000 and mulled things over for a while before folding, showing the 6.

Krause amicably tabled A8 for trip eights and raked in the pot. Meanwhile, Di Giacomo was left with a stack of ten big blinds to try and spin up.

Thiemer Shoves on El Yaacoubi

In a limped pot between the blinds, Frederik Thiemer led out for 160,000 on the KQA flop and Rachid El Yaacoubi called.

Thiemer bet another 625,000 on the 4 turn and El Yaacoubi again called. The river was the 10 and Thiemer moved all in. El Yaacoubi quickly folded.

Thiemer allowed El Yaacoubi to choose one of his cards, and El Yaacoubi turned over the 5. Thiemer then also showed the 3 as he took the pot.

Ivan Banic raised to 320,000 in the hijack. Thomas Eychenne called in the cutoff, as did Luigi Pignataro in the big blind.

The action checked to Eychenne on the 3QK flop and he tossed out a bet worth 350,000. Pignataro put in a call before Banic quickly evacuated the pot.

The 6 hit the turn, prompting Banic to lead out for 475,000. Eychenne let go of his hand and thus forfeited the pot to his opponent.

Banic Nearly Commits it All Against Burneikis

Vladas Burneikis raised to 340,000 under the gun and Ivan Banic three-bet to 655,000 in early position. The table folded back to Burneikis and he called.

The flop came AJ7 and Banic bet 330,000. Burneikis called and both players checked the 6 turn.

Burneikis also checked the 10 river and Banic bet 1,300,000, leaving only a few chips behind. Burneikis spent a few minutes staring over at Banic before flashing the J and folding.
