Eychenne Flops Raise Wins Him the Pot

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Thomas Eychenne had raised from the button and been called by the small blind before Samuel Auer-Klintmalm squeezed to 8,800 out of the big blind. Only Eychenne called.

Auer-Klintmalm fired a continuation-bet of 4,000 on the 223 flop and was met by a raise to 10,000 by Eychenne. Auer-Klintmalm didn't think for too long before throwing his cards into the muck and surrendering the pot to Eychenne.

Politika Pulls Ahead

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Raul Paez in middle position, Remigijus Politika in the hijack, and Thomas Hueber in the cutoff had created a pot of 16,500 when they went to a flop of QA5, which they all checked.

The 3 turn then saw Paez bet 10,000 and Politiki call. Hueber quickly let go of his cards before the 10 river completed the board.

Both remaining players knuckled the table. Paez showed AKQ6 for two pair, but it was no good against Politika's QQ96, who took down the pot with his set.

Dota Doubles Up

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Catching the action on a turn of KQA5, a big pot of 42,500 was already in the middle when Apostolos Chatzopoulos checked in the cutoff to Victor Dota on the button.

Dota then put in an all-in bet worth 28,100. Chatzopoulos pondered for a bit before calling it off, putting his opponent at risk.

Vinicenka Moves Up the Chip Counts After Cracking Hueber's Aces

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

With around 30,000 in the middle preflop, Thomas Hueber and Stanislovas Vinicenka saw a flop of J75. Hueber was first to act and shoved for his remaining 20,000 with Vinicenka making the call to put him at risk.

Thomas Hueber: AAQ4 All in
Stanislovas Vinicenka: J1096

Hueber had to fade a lot of outs if he was to stay alive in the tournament. However, the rest of the board ran out of 99 which improved Vinicenka to trip nines, winning him the pot and sending Hueber out the door.

Bernd Gleissner

Arriving on a flop of 94J, Bernd Gleissner was seen committing his stack of 40,700 into a pot of 35,000 from the hijack, with Valerie Yusupov looking him up with the covering stack in early position.

Bernd Gleissner: J954 All in
Valerie Yusupov: KK73

Gleissner was ahead with his two pair, and made a full house on the 4 turn for an upgrade. The J river gave him an even better full house, besting the kings of Yusupov and doubling up.

Yusupov was left with a healthy stack of 35,000, but was soon seen leaving the tournament area as he had lost those chips as well.
