Zizka Doubles Through Deeb

Shaun Deeb raised to 160,000 from middle position and Zdenek Zizka shoved for 325,000 from the cutoff. Deeb called to put Zizka at risk.

Zizka needed to find some help or he would be the first elimination at the final table. The board ran out 8J3Q7 to give Zizka the winner with a pair of queens, and he earned a much-needed double-up.

Ondrej Goetz shoved for his remaining chips from the cutoff and Shaun Deeb slowly squeezed his cards from the big blind. After he saw both of them, he snap-called.

When it folded to Amir Mozaffarian in the small blind he shoved to put Yehor Shumeiko all-in in the big blind. Shumeiko had 395,000 and after looking at his cards, snap-called.

Shumeiko just had to avoid a six to double-up. The board came A10282 to give both players a pair of aces, but it was Shumeiko's queen kicker that won him the pot.

Gavrila Scoops Biggest Pot of the Tournament Against Deeb

Playing five-handed, Shaun Deeb raised from under the gun and Viorel Gavrila three-bet from the cutoff to 325,000. When it got back to Deeb, he asked for a count and learned that Gavrila had around 1,600,000, then shoved. Gavrila quickly looked back at his cards and then stuck in calling chips.

if Deeb could find a way to win the hand he would be an overwhelming chip leader and burst the final table bubble, but it wasn't to be as the pocket queens of Gavrila held up on the 469K7 runout.

Armbrust Min-Raises the Flop

Level 28 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Zdenek Zizka raised to 125,000 from the cutoff with both Paco Kaplan and John Armbrust calling from the blinds.

When it checked to Zizka on the 273 flop, he bet 150,000. Kaplan folded but Armbrust check-raised to 300,000 from the big blind. Zizka had roughly 1,000,000 remaining in his stack and, after a bit of thought, opted to fold his hand.
