Max Neugebauer
Max Neugebauer

Max Neugebauer opened the button to 42,000 and Tomasz Kozub called on the button.

They went to a flop of 892, where Kozub checked and Neugebauer bet 102,000, leaving 20,000 behind. Kozub shoved, and Neugebauer called.

Max Neugebauer: AK95 All in
Tomasz Kozub: K987.

Kozub had flopped top two pair, which left Neugebauer drawing slim. The WSOPE Main Event champ couldn't find any help on the 72 runout, and he was out.

Cowen Triples as Albeck Busts on Mystery Bounty Bubble

Level 16 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Robert Cowen
Robert Cowen

Samuel Albeck opened to 42,000 under the gun and received a call from Nikolaos Lampropoulos, before Robert Cowen produced a three-bet to 168,000.

Albeck immediately four-bet all in to 255,000, and Lampropoulos called with the same stack size. Cowen moved the rest of his 244,000 total stack into the middle to create a three-way all-in scenario on the mystery bounty bubble.

Robert Cowen: KK103 All in
Samuel Albeck: AAJ2 All in
Nikolaos Lampropoulos: 8765 All in

It was aces versus kings versus a double-suited rundown from Lampropoulos.

The QJ6 flop kept Albeck in front, but the 5 turn gave Lampropoulos two pair.

The 9 hit on the river to give Cowen the king-high straight and the triple-up, and Lampropoulos won the small side pot to bust Albeck.

Yankov Loses Some to Claushuis; Busts Gleissner

Level 17 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Bernd Gleissner
Bernd Gleissner

Krasimir Yankov raised to 56,000 in the cutoff, and Bouwe Claushuis called on the button; the blinds folded. On the Q106 flop, the action checked to Claushuis, and he bet 152,000. Yankov folded.

Yankov then opened pot once again, and Bernd Gleissner came along from the big blind. Following the K106 flop, Gleissner checked and Yankov continued with full pressure for 136,000. Gleissner used all but one time bank, then moved all in and was snap-called.

Bernd Gleissner: AKQ3 All in
Krasimir Yankov: K866

The bottom set of Yankov remained ahead of Gleissner's top pair with a flush draw on the 4 turn and 7 river to reduce the field to the final 16 players, with the two-table redraw due any minute.

Lampropoulos Eliminated by Cowen

Level 17 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Nikolaos Lampropoulos
Nikolaos Lampropoulos

On the outer tables, the current hand was still to be completed, and it featured limps from Vadim Zakharyan, Veselin Karakitukov, and Javier Francort for 16,000 each. Nikolaos Lampropoulos used two time banks and then got his last 74,000 in from the small blind. Robert Cowen reraised to 215,000, and all other players folded.

Nikolaos Lampropoulos: QQJ8 All in
Robert Cowen: AAQ2

The AK4 flop gave Lampropoulos a flush while Cowen had the top set. It was all over for Lampropoulos on the 4 turn, which gave Cowen aces-full, making the 9 river a formality and eliminating Lampropoulos.

That brought the field down to the last 15 players, and they are now on a short break for the two-table redraw while also on the money bubble.

Javier Francort Eliminated in 14th Place (€18,600)

Level 17 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Javier Francort
Javier Francort

Javier Francort three-bet to 120,000 from the cutoff and was called by Robert Cowen in early position, which led them to the 653 flop. The action was checked to Francort, and he bet the pot for 280,000 with very few chips behind. Cowen raised, and Francort called all in.

Javier Francort: AQJ7
Robert Cowen: 10987

The nut flush draw clashed with a straight draw, and the K on the turn changed nothing. However, the 9 fell on the river, completing Cowen's straight, and Francort became the first player to bust in the money.

Veselin Karakitukov
Veselin Karakitukov

Over on the outer table, Veselin Karakitukov raised to 56,000 in the cutoff. Ioannis Angelou Konstas three-bet the pot from the small blind and Karakitukov got the last 154,000 into the middle for the Greek to call.

Veselin Karakitukov: AKKJ All in
Ioannis Angelou Konstas: 10887

The J86 flop gave Konstas a set, and the 9 turn improved that to a straight. Karakitukov needed another spade to survive, but the river was the Q to end his run in 13th place for €18,600.

Harald Casagrande
Harald Casagrande

Robert Cowen min-raised to 32,000, and Harald Casagrande three-bet the pot for Cowen to peel from under the gun, which led them to the AQ2 flop. Cowen checked, Casagrande bet the pot, and then called all in when Cowen jammed.

Harald Casagrande: AKJ10 All in
Robert Cowen: AK93

Both players had top pair, top kicker, then the 9 turn improved Cowen to two pair while Casagrande picked up a flush draw. What followed was the blank 2 on the river and Casagrande bowed out in 12th place for €18,600.
