Sebastian Kotowicz raised to 1,700 from the hijack and faced Iman Ghashayar who defended from the big blind.

Kotowicz continued for 1,500 on the A♥6♦A♦ and was called, then fired a second barrel of 4,000 on the J♣ turn. Ghashayar called again.

Both players checked the 2♦ river and Ghashayar won the pot with K♦J♠ for two pair.

A big pot of 86,000 had accumulated by the river, on a board of K♥9♦7♥Q♦5♣, in a hand between Robert Fluereci and Felix Seelentag, both in middle position.

After a bit of thought, Fluereci jammed with the covering stack, putting Seelentag to the test for his last 82,000.

Seelentag contemplated the position for quite a while, staring at the board, and counting out his stack, every so often slightly shaking his head.

After around 90 seconds, Seelentag tapped the table and sent his cards to the dealer.

There was already around 15,000 in the pot on a J♦6♦7♣ board when Marco Bognanni checked the hijack and Vikrant Mangal checked back from the cutoff.

On the 2♥ turn, Bognanni bet 3,500 and Mangal called to the 7♥ river. Both checked it down, and Bognanni showed 6♥3♥ for a pair of sixes at showdown.

Mangal had that beat as he held 9♠9♥ for a pair of nines to win the pot.

Giuseppe Pitruzzella raised from middle position, and Mario Baumann three-bet to 6,500 from the button. Mateusz Hajman cold-called from the small blind before Pitruzzella four-bet to 32,900. Baumann called, but Hajman folded.

Pitruzzella tossed his last 25,000 into the middle upon seeing the J♠10♠7♠ flop, and Baumann immediately called.

Pitruzzella had an overpair with the flush draw against the pocket nines and straight draw of Baumann. The A♣ turn didn't change anything, and the 3♠ river gave Pitruzzella an unnecessary flush.

Pitruzzella, who was down to just 12,000 before the dinner break, was back up above the starting stack.

A pot of 44,000 had developed by the river on a board of K♦5♦4♦Q♠3♦ in a hand between Stepan Budac in middle position and Uri Reichenstein in the big blind, both players having put in 16,000 on the turn.

Reichenstein led out with a bet of 34,000, and after a bit of time contemplating the position, Budac called.

Reichenstein tabled A♦3♣ for the rivered nut flush, and Budac tapped the table and mucked.

Xu Folds to Strobel's River Shove

Aiguo Xu opened from early position to 1,800 and Adrian Strobel three-bet from middle position to 6,300. When it got back to Xu, he called.

The flop came 7♣4♦3♥ and after Xu checked, he called a bet of 7,200 from Strobel to see the Q♦ hit the turn. Again Xu checked, and again Strobel fired, this time for 14,500. Xu called.

A 9♠ filled out the board and after Xu checked for a third time, Strobel shoved 45,000. Xu spent some time pondering, and with around 70,000 behind, he eventually elected to fold.

Colavita checked, and Kacprzak fired out an overbet of 70,000. Colavita went into the tank and eyed Kacprzak suspiciously, but ultimately sent his cards to the muck.

The 2025 Irish Open champion, Simon Wilson, is in the field and at this table.

With the A♦ exposed on the deal, there was a raise from early position with Luca Viviani calling in the cutoff. Max Neugebauer squeezed it to 8,000 from the small blind, forcing the initial raiser out. Viviani back-raised to 16,000 before Neugebauer jammed for 40,000. Viviani called, and the cards were on their backs with the 2023 WSOPE Main Event champion at risk.

It was a flip, but with one of Neugebauer's outs already dead, Viviani was the favorite with five cards to come.

That all changed after the K♥2♠9♦ flop that saw Neugebauer improve to top pair. The rest of the board came 7♣3♥, and Neugebauer doubled up.

On the J♦9♠K♦ flop, Pichierri checked and Gerner bet 2,000. Pichierri then raised to 6,000, and Gerner called.

Both checked the Q♠ turn to the 3♥ river, where Pichierri bet 2,500. Gerner quickly called.

Pichierri showed two pair holding J♠9♣, but that was no good as Gerner had a bigger two pair with Q♥J♥ to win the pot.
