Jose Gaona opened to 1,800 from middle position and was met with a three-bet to 5,000 from Fahredin Mustafov in the hijack. Action folded back to Gaona, who called.

On the K55 flop, Gaona check-raised to 7,500 versus a continuation-bet of 2,500 from Mustafov.

Mustafov called to see the 3 turn, where Gaona fired out a bet of 7,000. Mustafov again called.

The 8 river completed the board, and was quickly checked through. Gaona tabled A8 for the rivered pair of eights, but Mustafov had been good all along with JJ for a pair of jacks to go with the fives on the board.
