Mustafov Takes Three-Bet Pot

Jose Gaona opened to 1,800 from middle position and was met with a three-bet to 5,000 from Fahredin Mustafov in the hijack. Action folded back to Gaona, who called.

On the K55 flop, Gaona check-raised to 7,500 versus a continuation-bet of 2,500 from Mustafov.

Mustafov called to see the 3 turn, where Gaona fired out a bet of 7,000. Mustafov again called.

The 8 river completed the board, and was quickly checked through. Gaona tabled A8 for the rivered pair of eights, but Mustafov had been good all along with JJ for a pair of jacks to go with the fives on the board.

A pot of 64,000 had developed by the river, on a board of AAQ27, in a hand between Roman Isaienko on the button and Jose Gomez Casillas in the big blind.

Casillas led out with a bet of 15,500, and was faced with a raise to 50,000 from Isaienko. Casillas tanked, but ultimately made the call.

"Good call, you're good," said Isaineko as he tabled 1010 for two pair, aces and tens.

Casillas tabled A9 for trip aces and moved closer to the 500,000 mark.

Strauss Flops Top Pair

Christian Aupers raised to 1,600 from the cutoff and [Removed:599] called on the button. Tyson Strauss squeezed it up to 8,000 from the small blind, which only [Removed:601] called.

Strauss continued on the J56 flop for a bet of 7,400. [Removed:601] called.

Strauss didn't slow down on the 8 turn, as he led out for 12,000. Again, [Removed:601] called.

Two checks followed the A river and Strauss took down the pot with KJ for a pair of jacks.

Rehman's Stack Tumbles as Bajic Chips Up

Level 5 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Lukas Rutkauskas opened to 1,800 from under the gun and Saeed Rehman three-bet to 6,500 from middle position. Valeri Gonta called from the cutoff before Marko Bajic four-bet to 19,200 from the button. Rehman was the only caller.

On the 385 flop, Rehman checked and Bajic threw out a bet of 16,600. Rehman went deep into the tank and with around 70,000 back, he elected to let it go.

Reichenstein With Tens

In a three-bet pot on 865, Uri Reichenstein under the gun, Stepan Budac in middle position, and Andrea Radicchi in the cutoff checked.

Reichenstein led out for 10,000 on the 6 turn, but only Budac called. He called again when Reichenstein bet 18,000 on the Q river, but lost to Reichenstein's 1010.

Kacprzak Frazzles Frainge

A pot of 65,000 had developed by the river, on a board of A8536, in a hand between Marcin Kacprzak in middle position, and Benjamin Frainge in the small blind.

Frainge led out with a bet of 26,000, and was met with a jam with the covering stack by Kacprzak.

Frainge, who had around 45,000 behind, went into the tank, but after around two minutes, made the call.

He tabled AK for top pair aces, and exclaimed "Wow, crazy river!" when Kacprzak turned over 97 for the rivered straight, having held a flush draw on the flop.

Ace-High Good for Cibicek

With 28,000 in the middle on a 7782 board, Jozef Cibicek checked from the big blind and Felix Grossmann fired 12,500 from the button. Cibicek called.

On the 4 river, Cibicek checked it over once again, and after some time pondering with 50,000 behind, Grossmann knuckled back.

Cibicek then revealed ace-high with AK, and that was good for the pot as Grossmann quietly mucked his hand.

Hosseini Forces River Fold

A pot of 22,000 had developed by the river, on a board of KQ599, in a hand between Irina Kudrina in middle position, and Hossein Hosseini in the cutoff.

Kudrina checked, and Hosseini slid out a bet of 8,500. Kudrina took quite a bit of time before folding, and a tablemate demanded, "Show the bluff!"

Hosseini shook his head and said, "No bluff," as he raked in the pot.

Giuseppe Pitruzzella committed his last 12,000 with Diego Montone being the player trying to end his Main Event.

Pitruzzella's ace-jack had Montone dominated heading to the 73J flop, where both players hit top pair. The remainder of the board came 93 and Pitruzzella doubled up to roughly a quarter of the starting stack.
