Gonta Forces Cohen to Fold Top Pair

Level 5 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Valeri Gonta opened to 2,000 from early position, and received a call from Yosefi Cohen on the button, and the big blind.

On the A62 flop, action was checked to Gonta, who fired out a bet of 3,000. Cohen called and the big blind folded.

The J turn was quickly checked to the 10 river. Gonta slid out a bet of 5,000, and Cohen open-folded the A without much fuss.

Szymczak Flops Two Pair

Level 5 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Dominik Panka opened to 2,300 from middle position. Piotr Szymczak in the hijack three-bet to 6,000, Said Madani in the big blind called, and Panka folded.

The dealer spread a flop of 6Q3 where Szymczak continued for 7,000. Madani check-raised to 17,000 and Szymczak called.

Both players quickly checked the 6 turn, leading to the 4 river that they checked again. Madani then flipped over Q3 for two pair and scooped the pot.

Gicovanu Three-Bets Hu Light

Level 5 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Lulei Hu opened from early position to 1,700, and Marius Gicovanu three-bet the button to 6,000. Once the blinds passed, Hu called.

Despite the preflop action, it checked all the way to the river on the 8995K board, where Hu checked and Gicovanu bet 3,000. Hu reluctantly tossed in a chip to signify a call.

Gicovanu then showed he rivered a pair of kings holding K4, and Hu mucked his cards.
