Level 4 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Marcello Miniucchi opened to 1,200 from the hijack, but the cutoff three-bet to 3,500.

Karol Bugosz on the button four-bet to 9,500, then Miniucchi five-bet to 16,000. The cutoff got out of the way, but Bugosz six-bet to 27,500. Miniucchi called.

After Miniucchi checked the flop of 810A, Bugosz bet 10,000 and Miniucchi quickly folded.

Vymeris Good at Showdown in Four-Bet Pot

Level 4 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Andrea Radicchi opened to 1,500 from the hijack, and was met with a three-bet to 5,400 from Ricardas Vymeris in the cutoff, before Uri Reichenstein produced a cold four-bet to 11,000 from the big blind. Radicchi quickly folded, but Vymeris called.

The 764 flop and J turn were checked to the 7 river, where Reichenstein check-called in the face of a bet of 15,000 from Vymeris.

Vymeris tabled KJ for two pair, jacks and sevens, and Reichenstein mucked.

Intiso Bluff-Catches

Level 4 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

A pot of 26,8000 had developed by the river on a board of 77452, in a hand between Matteo Intiso and Alexandros Kolonias.

Intiso check-called a bet of 15,000 from Kolonias, and Intiso's Q9 for the queen-high flush was good versus Kolonias' A10 for air.

Vaaraniemi Showers Yamaci

Level 4 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante
Elias Vaaraniemi
Elias Vaaraniemi

Markus Yamaci and Elias Vaaraniemi just got their chips into the middle with Yamaci being the player at risk for roughly 45,000.

Markus Yamaci: KK All in
Elias Vaaraniemi: AQ

Vaaraniemi needed to come from behind to beat Yamaci's cowboys. The QJK flop was great for Yamaci as he improved to top set. However, Vaaraniemi turned a Broadway straight on the 10 turn, and managed to fade a board-pairing river as the 3 completed the board.

Yamaci headed to the rail, and Vaaraniemi was up to around 145,000.

Quads for Di Giacomo

Level 4 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante
Claudio Di Giacomo
Claudio Di Giacomo

On a full board of 46Q55, there were around 40,000 in the pot when Claudio Di Giacomo bet 11,500 from under the gun. Yannick Jobin was in the hijack and needed to think for some time before he settled on a call.

Di Giacomo then showed 55 for quads, while Jobin flipped the nut flush holding AK before it got mucked.

"Would you call if he shoved?" asked Adrian Cazacu to Di Giacomo.

Di Giacomo looked bewildered and said that he would, but Cazacu was quick to remind him that quads was not the nuts and a straight flush was possible.

Shaun Deeb

On a flop of 733 with 47,000 in the pot, Shaun Deeb in the small blind checked. Seyed Fazeli in the cutoff bet 25,000, Deeb raised all-in, and Fazeli called, finding himself at risk for 55,000.

Seyed Fazeli: A3 All in
Shaun Deeb: KQ

Fazeli flopped trips and was on his way to double up, but the KK runout completed a full house for Deeb, sending Fazeli to the rail. "That's how you win a bracelet," Ren Lin at the table joked.

Zito continued with a bet of 7,000 on the 874 turn, which failed to shake off Castellano.

Alessandro Pichierri
Alessandro Pichierri

Vitaliy Kryza from under the gun and Alessandro Pichierri in the small blind had each put in 16,000 preflop to see a board of KJ7, where Pichierri check-called a bet of 7,000 from Kryza.

The 5 turn was checked to the 3 river, where Pichierri fired out a big bet of 40,000.

Kryza sighed, sat back in his chair, took off his sunglasses, and took a sip of water.

After a couple of shakes of the head, he called, only to be shown the bad news when Pichierri tabled KJ for the flopped top two pair.

Balthasar Takes a Pot from Blasko

Level 4 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Rene Balthasar made it 1,200 from the hijack and Urmo Velvelt called on the button. Marek Blasko squeezed it up to 7,300 from the small blind, which was only called by Balthasar.

Blasko placed out a bet of 3,000 upon seeing the dealer fan out the 4KQ flop. Balthasar put in the call.

A 4 came on the turn and Blasko bet again, this time for 5,000. Once again, Balthasar just called.

The 3 hit the river and Blasko opted to bet 1,000. Balthasar immediately called and Blasko showed 53 for a pair of treys. Balthasar had that beat with 99 and the pot went over to him.
