Tarlev Good at Showdown

Level 4 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Petru Tarlev opened to 1,500 from middle position, and was met with a three-bet to 5,000 from Vasyl Vorynka in the hijack. Action folded back to Tarlev, who called.

On the 973 flop, Tarlev check-called a bet of 4,000 from Vornyka.

The same pattern followed on the 2 turn, this time in respect of a bet of 13,000 from Vornyka.

The 10 hit on the river and was checked through. Tarlev confidently tabled 88 for third pair eights, and that was good enough to force Vornyka to muck.

It was a flip. and one that seemed to be heading the way of Tooran as he paired his queen on the Q38 flop. Deeb was looking for a seven, but the K5 runout didn't contain any, which meant a portion of his stack was sent over to Tooran.
