Dijkstra Gets There on River in Five-Bet Pot

Level 3 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Uri Reichenstein opened to 1,000 from the early position, and was met with a three-bet to 4,000 from Jan Dijkstra in the cutoff. Mihai Hanu cold-called in the big blind, before Reichenstein produced a four-bet to 15,000.

Dijkstra thought it through, and five-bet to 27,000. Hanu sighed and got out of the way, and after a good bit of thought, Reichenstein called.

On the Q105 flop, Reichenstein check-called versus a bet of 7,500 from Dijkstra.

The 9 turn was quickly checked to the J river, where Reichenstein checked once more. Dijkstra slid out a bet of 30,000, and Reichenstein put his hands in the air to signal he didn't have much choice but to call, but didn't like it.

Djikstra tabled AK for the rivered nut straight, and that didn't appear to be news to Reichenstein, as he nodded, sighed, and tabled KK.

Shaun Deeb

From the cutoff, Seyed Fazeli had a bet of 2,000 placed out in front of him on a flop of 595, and Shaun Deeb, who was seated in the small blind, had check-raised to 6,500. Fazeli three-bet to around 21,000, which Deeb called.

An 8 rolled off on the turn and both players checked to see the 2 complete the board. Deeb didn't take long to shove for 71,600, causing Fazeli to go into the tank. In the end, after getting an exact count from the dealer. Fazeli stuck in the call.

Deeb turned over trip fives with 54, which earned him the pot as Fazeli mucked J9 for a pair of nines.

Palevic immediately called for his stack of 59,000 total.

In the next hand, Eychenne opened to 1,500 from the cutoff, and was met with a three-bet to 4,200 from Giorgio Prestes on the button. Action folded back to Eychenne, who called.

Level 3 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

With Ian Simpson on the button already at risk, Shaun Deeb in middle position checked a flop of JJ5, Fabio Stange in the cutoff bet 70,000 and Deeb folded.

Fabio Stange: QQ
