Maccatrozzo Eliminates Tantillo

Level 6 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Fausto Tantillo
Fausto Tantillo

With the board showing K105J and with around 27,000 in the middle, Luca Maccatrozzo jammed from the small blind. The bet was for Fausto Tantillo's stack of around 30,000. After giving it some thought, Tantillo stuck in the call to put himself at risk.

Fausto Tantillo: AK All in
Luca Maccatrozzo: Q9

Maccatrozzo had a straight, and only a queen on the river could save Tantillo by giving him a higher straight. It wasn't to be as the A rolled off the river to give Tantillo a meaningless two pair, and all of his chips were sent over to Maccatrozzo.

Garcia Scores a Huge Double Up Through Hissou

Level 6 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Arvin Verma made it 2,000 under the gun with Sirzat Hissou calling from the small blind. Murilo Garcia squeezed to 10,000 from the big blind and Verma called. Hissou back-raised to 32,000, which caused Garcia to put in another raise to 75,000.

Verma folded, and Hissou went into the tank. In the end, another player at the table called the clock on Hissou and when the timer got down to the last few seconds, Hissou jammed. Garcia instantly called for his stack of 166,000 and the players went to a showdown.

Murilo Garcia: KK All in
Sirzat Hissou: JJ

Garcia was on the verge of doubling up if his cowboys held up against the pocket jacks of Hissou. The board ran out 3836A and Garcia won the pot with his pocket kings.

Oz Raises Boesch Away

Level 6 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Oliver Boesch opened from early position to 2,000 and Barak Oz three-bet to 7,000 from the cutoff. When it got back to Boesch, he called.

The flop came AK2 and Boesch checked it over to Oz, who threw out a bet of 5,000. Boesch called to see the A pair the board on the turn, then he led out for 9,000.

Oz was having none of it and stuck in a raise to 31,100, leaving himself 25,000 behind. Boesch rechecked his cards a few times and ultimately elected to fold, which earned Oz the pot.

Queens For Oz

Level 6 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Barak Oz made it 3,000 to go from the small blind and Oemer Kaya called from the big blind.

When the flop came down 36A, Oz stuck with his preflop sizing of 3,000 when he bet, which Kaya called to see the J hit the turn. Both tapped the table and watched the 8 fill out the board.

After a bit of thinking, Oz bet 5,500, and Kaya took around 30 seconds before he called.

Oz then showed a pair of queens with QQ, and Kaya mucked his hand.

Level 6 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Rene Schnitzler
Rene Schnitzler

Marek Tomes limped under the gun before Rene Schnitzler made it 4,000 from the hijack. Arvin Verma called from the cutoff and Michal Szczeblewski called from the big blind, but Tomes limp-raised to 17,000. Schnitzler, Verma, and Szczeblewski called.

With roughly 70,000 already in the middle, the four players saw a flop of 3A6 fall, and the action checked to Tomes. Tomes bet 15,000 and was met by a shove for around 65,000 from Schnitzler. Verma and Szczeblewski got out of the way, and Tomes went into the tank. After deliberating for over a minute, Tomes made the call.

Rene Schnitzler: J8 All in
Marek Tomes: 77

Tomes had a pair of sevens against the two overcards and the flush draw of Schnitzler. Schnitzler was up out of his seat to see the 5 roll off on the turn. A 3 completed the board, and Tomes fist-pumped at having eliminated Schnitzler.
