Traut Wins a Huge Race Against Schoch

Heinz Traut opened from under the gun and Max Schoch three-bet to 36,000 from the small blind. Traut four-bet ripped it for 291,000, causing Schoch to go into the tank. Schoch mulled over the decision for more than two minutes before slamming in the call for the majority of his stack.

It was a race for a pot of 700,000, and it was Traut that took a commanding lead on the A♣6♥9♥ flop by pairing his ace. The remainder of the board came A♠6♣ to improve Traut to a boat, and he doubled up through Schoch.

Gulas Takes a Chunk Out of Jungevicius' Stack

Josef Gulas opened up to 10,000 in middle position and Kestutis Jungevicius three-bet the small blind to 38,000. Gulas called.

On the 2♦3♦4♠ flop, Jungevicius bet 36,000 and Gulas called to the 5♠ turn. Even though the board got scarier, Jungevicius didn't stop betting as he threw out 69,000, which Gulas called.

A 7♥ fell on the river and Jungevicius quickly checked, and Gulas quickly knuckled it to showdown.

Jungevicius then revealed 9♦5♦ for a pair of fives, but Gulas showed the winner as he rivered a set holding 7♠7♦.

Radicchi Can't Hit the River on Banic This Time

Andrea Radicchi and Ivan Banic had built a pot of around 120,000 as they went to the turn with the board showing 5♦K♣Q♣3♠. Banic then moved all in from the small blind, and Radicchi called in the cutoff.

Banic showed A♠K♠ for top pair, while Radicchi was on flush and straight draws with A♣10♣. The river was the 10♥ and Banic held on to win the pot.

The stacks were counted down and Radicchi barely had Banic's 138,000 covered, leaving himself nursing a short stack.

Georgios Zisimopoulos opened to 13,000 from early position, and received a call from Iago Savino on the button, before Kai Nicholls three-bet jammed from the big blind for 76,000.

Zisimopoulos folded but Savino made the call.

Nicholls was ahead, but he was up out of his chair after the A♦7♣7♠ flop gave Savino trip sevens.

The 3♠ gave Nicholls some hope with a flush draw, and he binked the Q♠ river to overtake Savino.

Nicholls didn't realize he was still in it, having assumed he was done following the flop, and Savino had to tell him he had won. Nicholls was understandably delighted his eyes were playing tricks on him, and he retook his seat at the table.

Dan Sfarlea was on the button, and he moved his 75,000 stack into the middle. Cieslik took a bit of time to think, but made the call, to create a three-way all-in scenario.

Marcell Csata got his stack of 81,000 into the middle preflop with Marek Tomes the player trying to send him home.

Before Csata saw Tomes' suited ace, he got out of his chair, took a swig of his large canned beverage, and refused to look at his opponent's cards or the runout, citing, "It brings me good luck."

Still, Csata didn't see that Tomes picked up some extra outs on the 10♦6♦8♣ flop by pairing his six. However, the rest of the board came Q♦4♣, and Csata doubled up.

It was only after he had dragged in his newly acquired chips that Csata asked his neighbors what hand he had been up against.

Krnac Takes Out Zizka, Flak Gets Away

Three players saw a flop of Q♣J♣10♦ when Zdenek Zizka moved all in for 135,000 in the hijack. Jan Krnac then reshoved for 260,000 in the small blind as action went on Grzegorz Flak in the big blind. Flak tanked for several minutes, all the while as Krnac laughed it up with Martin Kabrhel sitting at an adjacent table.

"Gamble, gamble," Kabrhel said to him.

Flak eventually folded, later saying he had 9♣7♣.
