Kabrhel Bluff-Catches

Level 21 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Martin Kabrhel
Martin Kabrhel

A pot of 565,000 had developed by the river, on a board of Q62K4, in a hand between Martin Kabrhel under the gun, and Yuhan Wang on the button.

Kabrhel check-called a bet of 200,000 from Wang, and his K8 for top pair kings was good versus Wang's A6 for a pair of sixes.

"Tell this man to stop bluffing me. I don't like it. If you want to bluff, you have to bluff like a man, all the chips," Kabrhel called to the floor.

Jan-Willem Nijmeijer raised to 75,000 in middle position before Lulei Hu three-bet to 175,000 in the hijack. Nijmeijer called and they went heads-up to the 746 flop.

Both players checked to the 9 turn, where Nijmeijer led out for 150,000. Hu called, and the 10 fell on the river.

Nijmeijer then bet 450,000, and Hu snap-called. Nijmeijer showed AJ for just ace-jack high. Hu had AQ and won the pot with ace-high, queen-kicker.

"One of the greatest calls in poker history. Now it's all over for the Dutchman. Two more hands," tablemate Martin Kabrhel said.

Jaatinen Busts Levy in Brutal Fashion

Level 21 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Tzur Levy
Tzur Levy

Teemu Jaatinen opened to 60,000 from middle position, and Tzur Levy defended the big blind.

On the 876 flop, Levy check-called versus a bet of 40,000 from Jaatinen.

The 4 rolled off on the turn, and Levy changed approach, leading out with a bet of 75,000. After some thought, Jaatinen called.

The 5 river put a straight on the board. Levy led out with a bet of around 420,000, leaving himself 5,000 behind.

Jaatinen jammed, and Levy called off his last chip.

Levy tabled K5, his turned eight-high straight having become a community hand by the river, but Jaatinen had 99 for the nine-high straight; a brutal end for Levy.

Georgios Tsouloftas
Georgios Tsouloftas

Georgios Tsouloftas raised to 60,000 in the cutoff before Gerald Karlic three-bet to 260,000 in the small blind. Tsouloftas called and the flop came 865.

Karlic then bet 150,000 and Tsouloftas called. The turn was the Q and Karlic bet another 300,000. Tsouloftas used a time bank before moving all in, and Karlic snap-called.

Karlic showed KQ for top pair, while Tsouloftas could only show J9 for a straight draw. The Q river improved Karlic to trips and earned him the pot.

The stacks were counted down, and Karlic's remaining 1,285,000 had Tsouloftas slightly covered, sending Tsouloftas to the rail.

Martin Kabrhel
Martin Kabrhel

Martin Kabrhel came in for a raise to 60,000 from middle position with Jan-Willem Nijmeijer calling on the button, and Yuhan Wang defending his big blind.

Wang knuckled the action over to Kabrhel on the 399 flop, and Kabrhel made a bet of 125,000. Nijmeijer called, but Wang check-raised to 350,000. Kabrhell matched the raise and Nijmeijer got out of the way.

A 3 appeared on the turn and the two players checked to see the A roll off on the river. Wang fired out 1,400,000 and Kabrhel quickly called.

Wang was playing the board with 72 for a busted flush draw, and lost the pot to Kabrhel's 95 for a full house.

"Casino Royale!" Kesidis Shoves Out Kabrhel

Level 21 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Ratmir Kesidis
Ratmir Kesidis

Ratmir Kesidis raised to 100,000 in early position and Martin Kabrhel called in the big blind.

Kabrhel checked the 5J4 flop and Kesidis checked back. "Not like that! I shouldn't have told him it was my board. It was very helpful to him," Kabrhel said as the 4 fell on the turn.

He then bet 270,000, and Kesidis quickly moved all in for 775,000. "Show your aces and I'll fold jacks," Kabrhel told him, taking a minute before sending his cards into the muck.

"Casino Royale!" Kesidis yelled out, borrowing one of Kabrhel's favorite phrases, as he returned his cards face down and took in the pot.
