Artem Kobylynskyi

Dimitrios Gkatzas raised to 200,000 from early position and Daniel Pidun called with 66 from the button. Artem Kobylynskyi squeezed all in for 1,230,000 from the big blind, and only Gkatzas called to try and bust him.

Artem Kobylynskyi: AQ All in
Dimitrios Gkatzas: AA

Kobylynskyi was in one of the worst possible shapes he could be with ace-queen against the pocket rockets of Gkatzas.

Kobylynskyi found zero help on the 27246 runout, and all of his stack was sent over to Gkatzas.

Martin Kabrhel raised to 200,000 in the cutoff before Bastian Gallitzendoerfer three-bet to 1,100,000 in the big blind. "Very small raise. I call, easy," Kabrhel said and they went heads-up to the 742 flop.

Gallitzendoerfer then bet 500,000. "Matthias, say goodbye to your friend," Kabrhel said to Matthias Gude sitting beside Gallitzendoerfer. "All in for the bracelet," he added, moving all in as Gallitzendoerfer called for 1,395,000.

Bastian Gallitzendoerfer: AQ All in
Martin Kabrhel: KQ

"How could you call?" Kabrhel said as Gallitzendoerfer was ahead with ace-high. The board ran out 83 and Gallitzendoerfer doubled up.

"Crazy call," Kabrhel added.

"Very crazy," Gallitzendoerfer added.

Kabrhel's Stack Decimated By Gallitzendoerfer's Hero Call

Level 26 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Martin Kabrhel
Martin Kabrhel

Martin Kabrhel raised to 200,000 from early position and Bastian Gallitzendoerfer was the only caller from the button.

Kabrhel made a continuation-bet of 275,000 on the 942 flop. Gallitzendoerfer quickly called.

A J appeared on the turn, prompting Kabrhel to fire a second barrel of 650,000. Again, Gallitzendoerfer quickly called.

The 6 completed the board, and Kabrhel asked Gallitzendoerfer how much he had in his stack. A rough estimate of 3,600,000 was announced, and after a brief pause, Kabrhel overbet jammed, covering Gallitzendoerfer.

Gallitzendoerfer leaned back in his chair, looked up at the tournament clock, and then stuck in the call.

Kabrhel showed a bluff with 107, and lost the pot to Gallitzendoerfer's J10 for a pair of jacks.

Martin Kabrhel Eliminated in 14th Place (€52,400)

Level 26 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Martin Kabrhel
Martin Kabrhel

Martin Kabrhel was the chip leader on the final three and the final two tables; he even had a big stack when play resumed after the dinner break. What was left now was an open-shove from the button for 490,000.

No Casino Royale, "for the bracelet." Just "four hundred ninety."

Murilo Garcia, in the big blind, made the call, and they were off to the races.

Martin Kabrhel: KJ All in
Murilo Garcia: 77

The Q5298 board changed nothing, and Kabrhel stayed silent throughout the entire showdown and then quickly vanished from the tournament area. His 14th place comes with a payday of €52,400, but a possible sixth WSOP gold bracelet at the King's Resort has to wait another year.

Daniel Pidun
Daniel Pidun

Daniel Pidun made it 200,000 to go from early position before Jonas Lauck three-bet the hijack to 525,000. Pidun continued with a call when the action got back to him.

A low flop of 763 came out and Pidun checked the action over to Lauck, who tossed out a bet of 450,000. Pidun jammed for 2,565,000 and Lauck snap-called.

Daniel Pidun: 77 All in
Jonas Lauck: KK

Pidun had taken the lead with a set of sevens on the flop, and only a king would see him bust.

The 2 on the turn didn't change anything, and neither did the 9 river. Pidun doubled to 6,400,000 and Lauck as left with around seven big blinds.

Gerald Karlic

Gerald Karlic limped in from the small blind before Dimitrios Gkatzas raised to 350,000 in the big blind. Karlic then reraised to 1,100,000, and Gkatzas called.

Both players checked the 5 turn and the 6 fell on the river. Karlic then bet 2,100,000, and Gkatzas gave the decision some thought before calling.

Karlic showed AQ for top pair, and Gkatzas mucked AJ.

Gude had 2,340,000 remaining in his stack and burned through some of his time banks before opting to toss his pocket kings into the muck.
