Karlic Doubles Through Gallitzendoerfer

Level 25 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Gerald Karlic
Gerald Karlic

The action folded to Bastian Gallitzendoerfer on the button, and he eyeballed the short stack of Gerald Karlic in the next seat before he opened to 700,000. Karlic used one time bank extension in the small blind before he called all in for the last 410,000.

Out of the big blind, Robert Ashelm sighed after he glanced at his cards and reluctantly folded, exposing an ace.

"That's not good, I think I will need one of those," Karlic said before the showdown.

Gerald Karlic: A9 All in
Bastian Gallitzendoerfer: 109

Despite his fears, Karlic was well ahead and secured the double on the two-table bubble when the board ran out K8448.

Neugebauer Almost Doubles With Ace-High Hero Call

Level 25 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Max Neugebauer
Max Neugebauer

From the cutoff, Max Neugebauer raised and Daniel Pidun three-bet the button to 450,000. Neugebauer stuck around with call.

Neugebauer check-called a bet of 325,000 from Pidun on the 344 flop.

A 2 on the turn checked through for the K to complete the board. Neugebauer checked again, and Pidun slid out a stack of T-100,000 chips, amounting to a bet of 1,900.000.

Neugebauer had around 2,100,000 in his stack and used only one of his time banks before electing to make the call. Pidun tapped the table and showed 107 for a bluff. Neugebauer turned over AQ for ace-high to win the pot, earning himself almost a full double-up.

Martin Kabrhel raised to 160,000 under the gun before Ran Ilani moved all in for 1,520,000 in the cutoff. Teemu Jaatinen called in the big blind, while Kabrhel folded 86.

Ran Ilani: 55 All in
Teemu Jaatinen: AA

Ilani had run into Jaatinen's aces, and the AK4 flop gave Jaatinen top set. Ilani picked up some outs on the 3 turn, but he missed the J river and was sent to the rail short of making his second straight final table appearance.

Level 25 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Bastian Gallitzendoerfer
Bastian Gallitzendoerfer

Max Neugebauer raised it to 180,000 on the button and was called only by Bastian Gallitzendoerfer in the big blind. The flop brought 777, and Gallitzendoerfer check-called for 125,000. That led them to the J turn on which Gallitzendoerfer check-called for another 320,000.

The K river completed the board, and Gallitzendoerfer checked the third street in a row. Neugebauer declared a bet of 620,000 and had barely moved the chips forward when Gallitzendoerfer tossed in a chip for the snap-call. Neugebauer rolled over his J4 for sevens-full of jacks, but Gallitzendoerfer had the best of it with the K10, sevens-full of kings.
