Dave Stann and Sarah Link went to the turn on a board of 10♥2♠A♣K♠ when Stann put in the rest of his 225,000 from middle position. Link called in the small blind.

Stann showed Q♦J♦ for the nut straight, while Link was left with a set holding K♥K♣. Stann needed to avoid the board pairing to stay alive, but not only did Link hit the river, she caught the K♦ to make quads and send Stann to the rail.

Jan Bendik finished runner up in the first bracelet event of the festival, and is making another deep run in the second.

Bendik opened to 60,000 from the hijack and Stepan Budac called on the button. Eden Vaturi was in the big blind and after pondering for a few moments, he shoved for around 400,000. Bendik wasted no time in putting in calling chips, which got Budac to fold.

Vaturi was ahead and just needed to sweat a runout to double up. The 7♦4♥3♠ flop was safe for him, but Bendik binked a queen on the Q♠ turn to take the lead. Only an ace on the river could save Vaturi, but the 2♠ wasn't it, which meant he got his marching orders.

With around 425,000 in the pot on a flop of K♦K♠Q♥, Bogdan Roman bet 80,000 from the button and Pablo Heredia called in the cutoff.

Both players checked the 5♦ turn. The river was the 4♣ and Heredia led out for 185,000. Roman then moved all in for 395,000.

Heredia took a few minutes before folding, and Roman took down the pot.

Izuric found an ace on the A♥J♥5♣ flop, but Zhao hit a set to leave Izuric drawing only to running cards. The A♣ turn gave him trips and Zhao a full house, but Izuric missed the K♦ river and was sent to the rail.

At another table, Robin Meyer had opened to 60,000 in early position before Dan Maricuta reraised to 400,000 in the big blind, leaving 10,000 behind. Meyer then moved all in and Maricuta looked back at the tournament clock before calling.

Barna was looking for an ace and had five chances at finding one. The first three chances came and went on the Q♥3♦6♠ flop, but the A♠ turn left him one card away from survival as he paired his ace. No ten appeared on the 7♣ river, and Francort had to fork over the chips.
