Filippo Ragone raised the pot on the button and Rifat Palevic repotted from the small blind, then called the all-in of Ragone.
Filippo Ragone: A♣K♣K♦4♠
Rifat Palevic: A♦K♥7♥7♣
"That's not good for me," Palevic said when he saw the kings with an ace for Ragone. He spiked a flush draw on the J♠5♥2♥ flop, but the 4♦ turn and 6♠ river were both blanks. Ragone doubled for 1,905,000 to put a dent into the Swede's stack.
Salih Atac had started the day in the lead but nothing ever went right for the Swiss guy, who dropped further down the leaderboard by the hour. Just now he raised the pot and then moved all-in when Javier Francort repotted to put himself at risk for around 13 blinds.
Salih Atac: 10♣9♦8♣7♦
Javier Francort: A♣A♥K♥Q♠
The double-suited rundown of Atac hit two pair on the 9♥8♥2♦ flop but Francort turned the flush thanks to the 10♥. Atac had several outs to a full house but none of them came with the 4♣ river to end his run in 8th place for €13,850.
Pablo Heredia raised to 300,000 from the small blind and Javier Francort defended his big blind.
The dealer fanned out a flop of A♥10♦K♠ and Heredia jammed for 445,000. Francort beat him into the pot with a call.
Pablo Heredia :A♦K♥10♠4♦
Javier Francort: Q♥J♠9♥3♠
Francort had the nuts with a Broadway straight, while Heredia held two pair.
Heredia picked up a flush draw on the 5♦ turn, but couldn't improve on the 8♥ river. Francort pulled in the pot, and Heredia was the first to be eliminated at the final table.
Salih Atac made it 300,000 from the hijack and only Daniel Bang-Ortmann called from the big blind.
The two players checked a runout of A♣J♠6♦9♣3♥ all the way to the river before Bang-Ortmann bet 350,000. Atac folded and surrendered the pot to Bang-Ortmann.
On the next hand, Atac made it 200,000 from middle position and Sascha Wilhelm was the only caller from the hijack.
Atac decided to check the 10♠9♠2♣ flop, which allowed Wilhelm to fire out 225,000. Atac made the call.
A Q♥ hit the turn, and Atac opted to check-fold after Wilhelm bet 400,000.
The action folded all the way to Tobias Peters in the small blind and he raised the pot, jokingly saying "let's see if there is still some fold equity." Vitaliy Kryza was in the big blind with only 385,000 total and called all-in.
Vitaliy Kryza: 6♣4♦3♦2♥
Tobias Peters: J♥J♣9♦3♣
Peters asked for high cards but Kryza found all the low cards on the 9♠6♦4♠7♦4♥ board to double with a full house.
Vitaliy Kryza limped in from under the gun and Rifat Palevic did so from the cutoff, Sascha Wilhelm in the small blind also limped in and Tobias Peters in the big blind checked. On the Q♦9♠6♣ flop, all four players checked before the A♦ turn was checked to Palevic. The Swede bet 400,000 and Kryza was the only caller.
Kryza then checked again the 4♠ on the river and Palevic bet 450,000. Two time banks later, Kryza called and was shown the A♠9♦5♦3♠ for aces and nines by Palevic, which won the hand as Kryza tapped the table in defeat.
Salih Atac made it 200,000 to go from under the gun and Rifat Palevic called in the big blind. On a flop of 4♠3♠3♣, Palevic opted for a check-call worth 150,000 and they then checked the Q♥ on the turn. No further betting action followed on the 9♠ river either and Palevic claimed the pot with his A♦Q♦5♥2♠.
