Jose Gaona Eliminated in 5th Place (€45,000)
Level 31
: Blinds 250,000/500,000, 500,000 ante
Zdenek Zizka moved all in from the small blind and Jose Gaona snap-called for 3,500,000 in the big blind.
Jose Gaona: Q♦J♦
Zdenek Zizka: Q♥9♥
Gaona assumed his usual position by his supporters on the rail to await the flop, but this time he got some bad news when the dealer turned over 9♣6♦5♠ to give Zizka top pair. The turn was the 6♠, while Zizka improved to a full house on the 9♦ river.
Gaona went around the table to shake his opponents' hands and received a round of applause as he made his exit in fifth place.
