Besnik Aruqi made it 1,200,000 from the cutoff before Gal Naim three-bet the button to 2,500,000. Alkiviadis Stamatis, who was seated in the big blind, burned through a few of his time banks before four-bet jamming for 6,275,000. Aruqi folded, but Naim snap-called.
Alkiviadis Stamatis: J♣J♦
Gal Naim: A♥9♣
Stamatis found the perfect spot with pocket jacks, and just needed to fade an unfortunate runout to double up.
Naim repeatedly said "ace, ace, ace," as the dealer fanned out the 2♥6♥4♣ flop. Naim's pleas went unanswered again on the 3♠ turn, and Stamatis just needed to fade an ace on the river to keep the tournament on the final table bubble.
Naim's request for an ace continued as the dealer burned a card, then peeled off the A♠ on the river to give Naim the winning hand. Naim raised his arms and erupted in celebration at having rivered the winner. After a few moments, Naim apologized to Stamatis and said, "Sorry, I love you," to which Stamatis responded with, "I love you too."
Stamatis headed to the cashier's desk to collect his tenth-place payout, while Naim went to the final table with a stack of 26,425,000.
Gal Naim raised from early position to 1,000,000 and only Roman Isaienko defended out of the big blind.
Isaienko checked the 6♥8♣2♥ flop, and Naim bet 700,000. Isaienko did some inventory of his stack and then made the call.
The 2♠ rolled off on the turn, prompting Isaienko to check again. Naim fired a second barrel of 1,650,000, which Isaienko called.
With 3,975,000 remaining in his stack, Isaienko checked for the last time upon seeing the 4♣ river. Naim thought for a while, then put Isaienko all in.
Isaienko went deep into the tank, burning through almost all of his time banks. In the end, Isaienko settled on a call.
Naim revealed A♠A♦ for a pair of aces, which won him the pot and eliminated Isaienko, who revealed 6♦5♣ for just a pair of sixes.
Isaienko headed to the rail in ninth, while Naim moved up to 34,500,000.
With K♥10♣, Stanislav Koleno made it 1,000,000 under the gun. The action folded to Gal Naim in the small blind, who looked down at 8♥4♥ before announcing all in for 33,250,000.
After the big blind folded, Naim pushed his cards into the middle to muck, having not seen Koleno's open. Naim then pulled his cards back and sat stoically. Koleno, who had 28,000,000 in his stack and was second in chips behind Naim, went into the tank. After around a minute, Koleno folded.
Naim admitted his error, then said to Koleno, "If I win this tournament, you get €2,000."
Stanislav Koleno limped in from the small blind and Salih Atac raised to 2,000,000 from the big blind. Koleno then shoved, and Atac called off his stack of around 18,500,000.
Salih Atac: A♠Q♦
Stanislav Koleno: 4♠4♥
A huge pot of 37,000,000 was on the line, and Koleno stayed in front through the 5♦3♣3♥ flop. A 10♠ on the turn changed nothing, and neither the did 7♦ river, which meant Atac was out in eighth.
Dan Sfarlea jammed for 6,425,000 from the cutoff and Christophe Vincent made the call to try and bust him from the small blind.
Dan Sfarlea: A♦Q♥
Christophe Vincent: 10♥10♣
It was a flip that Sfarlea needed to win to stay alive in the tournament. The 4♥5♦9♦ flop was great for Vincent's pocket tens. A 7♣ appeared on the turn, and Sfarlea was one card away from elimination. The 4♦ completed the board, meaning Sfarlea was out in seventh.
Stanislav Koleno shoved the button and Francesco Zappala called off his stack of 11,025,000 in the small blind.
Francesco Zappala: 5♠5♦
Stanislav Koleno: Q♦J♣
Zappala needed to hold with his pocket fives to remain in contention, and had to fade more outs after the 10♣6♣6♥ flop. An A♦ turn gave Koleno more outs with a straight draw and a chop possibility with a river ten.
That chop did come in as the 10♠ filled out the board, and the hand ended honors even.
Gal Naim opened the button with 10♥5♥ to 1,200,000 and Stanislav Koleno defended J♦10♦ from the big blind.
They saw a flop of 5♠Q♥8♥, where Koleno check-called a bet of 1,350,000 from Naim to the 9♦ turn. With the nuts, Koleno led for 3,700,000, and Naim called after some time thinking.
A 3♠ on the turn saw Koleno play a time bank before he slid out a bet of 11,000,000. Naim used some extra time with his pair of fives and was a non-believer as he eventually made the call.
Koleno then showed his straight, and Naim watched the huge pot go away from him.
Besnik Aruqi jammed from under the gun for 6,850,000 and Christophe Vincent made the call to try and bust him from the small blind.
Besnik Aruqi: Q♠J♥
Christophe Vincent: A♦4♣
Vincent was slightly ahead with ace-high, but Aruqi had two live cards working for him.
A flop of 5♣5♠8♥ came down, keeping Vincent in the lead. The 9♦ turn gave Aruqi a straight draw, but the 7♠ river was a brick. Vincent's ace-high won the pot, and Aruqi was sent to the exit in sixth place.
