Vincent Doubles Through Pustina

Level 29 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

A few hands after the start of the day, the chip leader Vlastimil Pustina opened to 400,000 form the button. Christophe Vincent in the small blind three-bet to 1,350,000, then Pustina moved all in. Vincent snap-called off his last 4,375,000.

Pustina flopped a flush draw on 7K6, but the 3A runout kept Vincent in the lead and he doubled up.

Patrick White Eliminated in 23rd Place (€7,250)

Level 29 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante
Patrick White

Francesco Zappala made it 400,000 from under the gun and only Patrick White called out of the big blind.

The dealer fanned out a flop of 92K and White knuckled the action over to Zappala, and Zappala bet 250,000. White stuck around in the form of a call.

A 4 fell on the turn and White checked again. Zappala bet 575,000, and after a few moments, White check-jammed for 2,500,000. Zappala instantly called.

Zappala had the nuts with a top set of kings, while White had eight-high for nothing and was drawing dead. A 5 completed the board, and White swiftly headed to the exit as the first elimination of the day.

Spataru Doubles With Queens

Level 29 : 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Andrei Spataru opened to 400,000 from early position and Daniel Elhaiany called on the button.

The flop came 785 and Spataru checked it over, then Elhaiany shoved. Spataru snap-called for his 2,050,000.

Daniel Elhaiany: A5

Both players had a pair, but Spataru's was bigger with queens. Elhaiany was looking to boost his stack early and thin the field, but the 94 runout didn't improve him, which meant Spataru doubled up.

Mini Main Event to Crown New WSOP Europe Champion Today

Salih Atac
Salih Atac

From a starting field of 1,293 entries, just 23 players remain in the chase for gold as the €1,350 Mini Main Event at the 2025 World Series of Poker Europe (WSOPE) reaches its final day. The action resumes at King’s Resort in Rozvadov at 1 p.m. local time, and by the end of the night one of them will be crowned champion.

Leading the way is Czech pro Vlastimil Pustina, who bagged 13,000,000 after a roller-coaster Day 2 that saw him rise to the top by knocking out former chip leader Rene Majed. Close behind are Gal Naim (11,575,000) and Salih Atac (10,175,000), while Dan Sfarlea (9,575,000) and Daniel Elhaiany (9,175,000) round out a stacked top five.

Plenty of dangerous contenders remain further down the counts, each capable of mounting a comeback on the final day. France’s Christophe Vincent (4,875,000) and Italy’s Roberto Manfredi (3,375,000) are both still in the mix, joined by Patrick White (3,350,000) and Calin Ciolte (3,350,000).

Dimitrios Michailidis (3,075,000) and Day 1a chip leader Emad Zarghami (2,875,000) also return with playable stacks, while Hicham Aouraghe (3,050,000) and Karol Konopka (2,600,000) hover near the danger zone. Shorter stacks such as Jakub Sterba (2,450,000), Andrei Spataru (2,450,000), and Eusebiu Jalba (2,400,000) still have work to do, but with the blinds already high, one double-up could quickly change their fortunes.
