Wojciechowski Puts Phillips in the Blender

Level 19 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Pawel Wojciechowski
Pawel Wojciechowski

Pawel Wojciechowski raised from under the gun and only Anthony Phillips called from the button.

Wojciechowski bet 85,000 when he saw the KA4 flop, and Phillips stuck around with a call.

A 5 on the turn checked through for the 10 to complete the board. Wojciechowski paused briefly, then jammed, putting Phillips to the test for his stack of around 650,000.

Phillips went deep into the tank, thinking for over two minutes before a tablemate called the clock on him. When the timer got down to ten seconds, Phillips tossed his cards into the muck, surrendering the pot to Wojciechowski.

Olivier Desbrueres moved all in for 310,000 on the button and Laurynas Jakutis called in the big blind.

"Good luck, no matter what," Jakutis said as both players stood up and reached across the table to give each other a fist bump.

Olivier Desbrueres: K8 All in
Laurynas Jakutis: 1010

Desbrueres was looking for a king to stay alive as the flop came A97. The 8 turn gave him a pair, but he improved no further on the 3 river and busted just short of the money.

Karel Novotny
Karel Novotny

Jakub Sigmund opened to 40,000 from the hijack. Sebastian Kotowicz in the small blind called while Karel Novotny was already forced all-in from the big blind for his last 20,000.

Sigmund continued for 25,000 on a flop of 10J3 and was called, then both Kotowicz and Sigmund checked the 2 turn.

On the 5 river, Kotowicz bet 110,000 to make Sigmund fold. Once all tables were done, Wotowicz flipped over QJ for top pair. Novotny only had A3 and was eliminated. One more elimination is now needed to reach the money.

Stamatis Puts Haddad in the Blender on the Bubble

Level 19 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Alkiviadis Stamatis

A big pot of around 500,000 was already in the middle as Roland Haddad and Alkividis Stamatis went to the turn on a board of 61053. Haddad then bet 100,000 from the big blind and Stamatis moved all in from the hijack.

Haddad shot out of his seat after Stamatis announced his shove. "Better than ten?" he asked.

"Who knows," Stamatis replied.

"What do you have, be honest," Haddad added.

"Ace-king of clubs," Stamatis said, and the two spent a few more minutes exchanging some banter.

Haddad asked the floor how much time he had to act as the minutes continued to tick by. He eventually announced a fold and tossed his cards into the muck, while Stamatis returned his cards face down and took in the big pot.

Kewin Fluegel bubble boy

Kevin Fluegel opened under the gun only to bet three-bet by Kai Vater from middle position. When it folded back to Fluegel, he shoved for 652,000. Vater called to try to send all the remaining players into the money.

Kevin Fluegel: AK All in
Kai Vater: KK

It was a cooler with Fluegel holding big slick versus the pocket kings of Vater.

Fluegel needed an ace to remain seated, although he didn't find one on the 7106 flop. A 9 turn offered up a few chop outs for Fluegel, but the 5 river was no help for him.

Fluegel exited on the stone bubble, as the remaining 194 players were now all in the money.
