Three players got their chips into the middle with Krzysztof Chmielowski as the shortest player all-in and at risk for 285,000. Evgeny Medyukha had that covered but was also in dire streets against Laurynas Jakutis.

Zizka Turns the Perfect Card to Double Through Bayout

Three players saw the turn on a board of 10♠J♠2♣Q♦ and with around 350,000 in the pot. Zdenek Zizka and Josef Gulas checked from the blinds, causing Axel Bayout to fire 225,000 out of the cutoff. Zizka called before Gulas jammed for around 1,500,000. Bayout folded, and then Zizka instantly called for his 900,000 total.

Both players turned a straight, but Zizka's king-high straight had a lock on the hand. Zizka improved to a meaningless flush on the 8♠ river, and he doubled up to 2,400,000.

Pflock Eliminated by Saveikis

Algirdas Saveikis raised to 300,000 from an early position for nearly his entire stack two spots away from a pay jump. Pascal Pflock only had 140,000 left one seat over and tanked while checking the tournament board before he then called all-in with still 91 players left. All other players folded and the cards were revealed.

The K♣Q♦2♦ flop gave Pflock the lead but the 9♦ turn improved Saveikis to the ace-high flush. Pflock needed a king or nine, but the 10♣ river sent him out just shy of the pay jump.

Michailidis' Stack Takes a Gut Punch

Heads-up on a flop of 6♠2♠9♥, Maciej Gut bet 140,000 from the hijack and Dimitrios Michailidis raised to 350,000 in early position. Gut called and the K♥ fell on the turn.

Michailidis then moved all in, and Gut quickly called for 370,000. Neither player had a pair, Michailidis showing 8♣7♣ for a straight draw while Gut had A♥5♥ for a flush draw. The A♠ river gave Gut top pair and he secured the double up.

On a board of K♥10♥K♣7♠8♠ with more than 1,000,000 in the pot, Jakub Sigmund checked from early position.

Sebastian Kotowicz in the hijack moved all-in for roughly 2,800,000 and Sigmund went deep into the tank. He eventually slammed a pile of chips in front of him to call off his last 900,000 with A♦10♣ for two pair.

However it was far from being enough to win the pot as Kotowicz had A♥K♠ for trips to win the pot and reach 5,000,000 chips.

Koleno Turns the Nuts to Leave Pflock on Fumes

Pascal Pflock raised to 100,000 in the hijack and Stanislav Koleno called in the big blind.

The flop came Q♦8♦7♣ and Pflock bet 140,000. Koleno called and the 4♥ fell on the turn.

Pflock then bet 280,000, and Koleno spent several minutes in the tank as he counted out his remaining stack before moving all in for 695,000. Pflock then took a few minutes until calling.

Pflock showed Q♠10♦ for top pair, but Koleno had turned the nut straight with 6♠5♠. The river was the 5♦ and Koleno doubled up, leaving Pflock with less than a big blind.

On one of the first hands back from dinner, Charlie Chiu jammed from the cutoff for around 440,000, and Nikolaos Valtatzis made the call from the button to try bust him.

Valtatzis was ahead with ace-high, but Chiu did have two live cards working for him.

Valtatzis stayed ahead on the A♣K♣7♠ flop where both players hit a pair. The 8♥ turn and 3♦ river didn't change anything, meaning all of Chiu's stack headed over to Valtatzis.
