Picking up the action on the 10♣6♣3♠10♦ turn, Francesco Zappala made it 135,000 to go in the big blind and Daniel Elhaiany came along in the cutoff. Zappala then sized up to 275,000 on the 2♠ river and that was enough to force out Elhaiany.
Petr Walica got his short stack in with the A♦K♦ in the cutoff and was looked up by table chip leader Martin Bartos, who had the A♣3♥ in middle position.
The A♠J♦3♣2♦5♥ board improved Bartos to aces and treys for the knockout.
Ali Boulacel moved all in from middle position and Marc Serra, leaning over the table with his shirt off receiving a massage, called in the big blind.
Ali Boulacel: A♥9♠
Marc Serra: J♣J♥
Boulacel picked up a straight draw going to the river on a board of K♣2♦3♥5♣, but he couldn't improve on the 8♠ river and Serra secured the pot. The dealer confirmed that Serra had Boulacel's remaining 330,000 covered before Boulacel made his way to the payout desk.
2025 WSOPE Monsterstack runner-up Zdenek Zizka opened to 50,000 from the cutoff. Natanel Elidan on the button three-bet all-in for 180,000 and Zizka went deep into the tank before making the call.
Natanel Elidan: Q♣J♥
Zdenek Zizka: 10♠5♦
Zizka flopped a pair on 10♣4♣7♥K♥3♠ to take the lead and send Elidan to the rail.
Andre Ott made it 50,000 under the gun before Daniel Trunk jammed the button for 360,000. Ott made the call to put Trunk at risk when it folded back to him.
Daniel Trunk: A♥K♦
Andre Ott: 10♠10♣
It was a pivotal flip for Trunk's future in the tournament, and when the 10♥6♦8♠ flop fell to give Ott top set, Trunk's future looked bleak. A 9♠ turn gave Trunk some chop outs, but the J♥ river meant Ott won the hand with a set and Trunk was out.
Robert Ashelm raised to 55,000 in early position before Samuel Bovy moved all in for 385,000 in the hijack. Martin Qvist called for 285,000 in the big blind as action went back on Ashelm. He took a few minutes until another player at the table called the clock. Ashelm then slammed in the chips to put both opponents at risk.
Martin Qvist: A♦A♠
Samuel Bovy: A♣Q♣
Robert Ashelm: J♣10♣
Qvist had picked up aces and was poised to scoop the three-way all in as the 8♥7♥5♦ flop gave Ashelm some hope with a straight draw. The turn was the 8♣, while the 4♣ kept Qvist in the lead and earned him a triple up. Bovy won the small side pot off Ashelm with his ace-high.
