Robert Ashelm raised to 55,000 in early position before Samuel Bovy moved all in for 385,000 in the hijack. Martin Qvist called for 285,000 in the big blind as action went back on Ashelm. He took a few minutes until another player at the table called the clock. Ashelm then slammed in the chips to put both opponents at risk.

Qvist had picked up aces and was poised to scoop the three-way all in as the 8♥7♥5♦ flop gave Ashelm some hope with a straight draw. The turn was the 8♣, while the 4♣ kept Qvist in the lead and earned him a triple up. Bovy won the small side pot off Ashelm with his ace-high.
