Stamatis Nearing Eight Figures

Level 28 : Blinds 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

Luca Marchetti raised to 330,000, and Maciej Gut then pushed all in for 1,230,000 in the next seat. The action folded back to Marchetti, and he tank-folded.

One hand later, Daniel Elhaiany opened to 360,000, and Alkiviadis Stamatis called in the next seat. Marchetti gave it some thought and folded, as did everyone else. Elhaiany checked the K95 flop and Stamatis bet 240,000 to claim the pot and the chip lead.

The flop came J78 and Naim bet 275,000. Aouraghe then raised to 700,000 and Naim moved all in for 3,220,000. Aouraghe took a minute to confirm the amount before calling.

At another table, Dan Sfarlea had opened to 330,000 in the hijack before Dimitrios Michailidis shoved from the small blind. Sfarlea called for 3,800,000.

More for Atac and Majed

Level 28 : Blinds 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

Yuhan Wang opened the action with a raise to 325,000 from under the gun, and Emad Zarghami called. Salih Atac on the button then three-bet to 1,300,000 for around one-third of his stack. Both blinds folded, and Wang let go after some consideration.

"Such a sick spot," Zarghami said and then folded the AJ face-up.

One table over, the flop showed K72 and Stanislav Koleno checked out of the big blind. Rene Majed bet 300,000, and Koleno called. They both checked the 2 turn, and Koleno also checked the 4 on the river. Majed bet 700,000, and that won the pot uncontested.
