Ochoa Doubles Through Koleno

Stanislav Koleno raised to 125,000, and Hicham Aouraghe called on the button. Cristobal Ochoa then jammed out of the small blind for 520,000, and Koleno moved in over the top. Aouraghe sigh-folded.

The 10♦9♣9♥6♥A♠ board gave Ochoa trips nines and he said "I knew it," while Aouraghe was out of his chair and bemoaned a folded full house with pocket sixes.

"If he folds, I will call you, I had such a good feeling about this hand," Aouraghe exclaimed.

Panagiotis Mavritsakis made it 125,000 from middle position with Jakub Sterba calling from the cutoff, Dimitrios Michailidis calling on the button, and Andrei Spataru defending his big blind.

When it got to Mavritsakis on the A♣10♥5♣ flop, he bet 185,000 and was met by a raise to 450,000 from Streba. Michailidis and Spataru got out of the way before Mavritsakis jammed for 700,000. Streba made the call.

Mavritsakis had top pair, top kicker against the straight and flush draws of Sterba. The 8♥ turn was safe for Mavritsakis, but the 9♣ completed Sterba's flush.

Mavritsakis headed to the cashier's desk, and Sterba's stack moved up to two million. At a nearby table, Rene Majed was seen pulling in another huge pot after he eliminated Josef Gulas.

Roberto Manfredi also pushed forward his entire stack from the big blind and went to turn over his cards before it was pointed out that Bechor still had 25,000 remaining. Bechor took a peek at the tournament clock before tossing in his last chip.

On a board of A♥8♦6♦J♥, Simon Schnidrig bet 350,000 from under the gun and Rene Majed called from the button.

A Q♥ completed the board and Schnidrig bet 550,000, which was almost half his stack. Majed mulled it over for a while, then jammed, covering Schnidrig and putting him to the test for the rest of his chips. Schnidrig quickly folded and relinquished the pot to Majed.
