Grzegorz Derkowski opened the action with a raise to 105,000 on the button and was called by Max Stenberg in the big blind. Following the K♦9♣2♠ flop, Stenberg opted to check and then called a bet worth 80,000.
Stenberg also checked the 6♠ on the turn and Derkowski now bet the pot for 450,000, prompting a snap-fold from his opponent.
Volodymyr Kokoulin raised to 75,000 in middle position and Tim Reusch called in the big blind.
The flop came Q♥Q♠6♠ and Kokoulin bet 80,000. Reusch called and the 10♣ fell on the turn.
Kokoulin then bet 100,000 and Reusch again called. The river was the 8♦ and Kokoulin announced pot, enough to put Reusch all in. Reusch had around 375,000 remaining and quickly folded.
Antoine Vranken potted to 105,000 preflop from middle position, leaving himself 20,000 behind. Marek Uharcek then repotted it from the cutoff and revealed his cards once the big blind folded, thinking Vranken was already all-in. Vranken saw the cards of Uharcek, and after burning through some time banks, he called.
Antoine Vranken: Q♦J♠10♥4♠
Marek Uharcek: A♠A♣K♥5♦
Vranken had some work to do, and did see a path to survival on the 4♣7♥9♥ flop with a straight draw. An 8♠ on the turn locked it up for him as he completed his straight, with the 9♦ dropping on the river.
Mikkel Plum raised to 65,000 in middle position and was called by Quirin Zech in the hijack and big blind Martin Schamaun.
The flop came K♠Q♣9♦ and Plum bet 75,000. Only Zech called to see the 4♠ turn. Plum then bet 125,000 and Zech again called.
The river was the A♥ and Plum bet 200,000. Zech then raised all in, and Plum quickly folded.
The next hand, Plum raised to 105,000 under the gun and Dusan Despotovic called in the cutoff. Plum moved all in for 205,000 on the 10♠7♥5♣ flop, and Despotovic called.
Mikkel Plum: A♦9♣8♣2♦
Dusan Despotovic: A♥K♣9♦2♥
"No pair," Plum said as he turned over his cards. Despotovic also didn't have a pair, but he was ahead with his ace and king-kicker as the board ran out 10♥10♦ to send Plum to the rail in 15th place.
Jaroslav Peter raised the pot to 105,000 from the hijack with just 20,000 back. When it folded to Tamazi Skhirtladze in the big blind, he peeked at his cards, then raised to put Peter all in. Peter called and the players went to a showdown.
Jaroslav Peter: K♦Q♠J♣7♠
Tamazi Skhirtladze: A♣A♠5♦3♣
Peter needed some help from the dealer to beat the aces of Skhirtladze. Peter picked some outs on the 4♦10♦K♠ flop by pairing his king, but was unable to improve on the 5♠ turn or 10♥ river.
Skhirtladze pulled in the pot and Peter headed to the rail in 16th place.
Martin Schamaun raised to 85,000 under the gun and Volodymyr Kokoulin potted to 310,000 in the hijack. Ruslan Nazarenko called for his last 250,000 in the cutoff, while Schamaun got out of the way.
Ruslan Nazarenko: A♦K♣K♦3♣
Volodymyr Kokoulin: A♣A♥5♥5♣
Nazarenko had run his kings into Kokoulin's aces, but the 8♦6♠3♦ flop did give him additional outs with a flush draw. The 8♠ turn was no help, while the J♣ river sealed his elimination in 17th place.
The remaining 16 players are drawing for seats at the final two tables.
Antoine Vranken defended his big blind and check-called a bet worth 50,000 by Marek Uharcek on the button with the flop showing K♠8♠8♣. On the 5♥ turn, Vranken checked again and Uharcek got the last 125,000 into the middle. Vranken used one time bank and called in this duel of short stacks.
Marek Uharcek: K♣J♣8♦5♦
Antoine Vranken: A♣A♦6♠5♣
Vranken needed one of the two remaining aces in the deck but the river only brought the 10♠ to leave the Dutchman short-stacked.
Martin Schamaun opened the cutoff to 70,000 and Volodymyr Kokoulin three-bet to 245,000 from the button. Kokoulin called once the action was back on him.
The flop came 2♦2♥7♥ and after Schamaun checked, Kokoulin bet 550,000, leaving himself just 10,000 behind. Schamaun burned through multiple time banks, but ultimately decided to fold, claiming he had a flush draw.
Kokoulin then showed A♥K♥K♣ to his opponent as he claimed the pot.
