Cieslik Plays "ABC Poker" Against Aflalo

Heads-up on a flop of 77J, Michael Aflalo bet 40,000 from middle position and Peter Cieslik raised to 90,000 in the big blind. Aflalo called and they saw the K fall on the turn.

Both players checked to the 7 river, where Cieslik led out for 135,000. Aflalo snap-called.

Cieslik showed K4 for two pair, and Aflalo mucked AJ. "You raised king-four?" Aflalo wondered after the hand.

"ABC poker," Cieslik replied.

"That's ABC poker?" tablemate Marian Kubis joked with Cieslik.

Alexandru Izuric opened to 30,000 from the cutoff, and was met with a three-bet to 90,000 from Jorge Ufano in the small blind. Scott Reynolds was in the big blind, and he cold four-bet jammed to 120,000.

Izuric quickly rejammed for around 530,000 total, and Ufano was forced to fold after spending a good 90 seconds in the tank.

Gunter Glaser raised to 35,000 in early position and Andreas Hafner moved all in for 205,000 in the cutoff. Glaser started going through the math to himself and took a minute before calling.

Hafner showed down two queens and was in the lead going to the flop, which came J64 to give Glaser a flush draw. The turn was the J, while Glaser didn't hit his flush on the river, but he did connect with the K to send Hafner to the rail.

Hafner laughed off the beat and snapped a photo of the board before heading to the exit. "I told you, gamble," Glaser told his tablemates after the hand.

Palevic had the goods and just needed to hold to score a double knockout. A flop of 2104 was good for him, and it was almost all over by the time the K hit the turn. Only a queen could save Rohde, but the 5 river wasn't it, which meant Palevic knocked out two opponents in one swoop.
