Alimoradpour Cracks Bovy's Rockets

Level 20 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Majid Alimoradpour
Majid Alimoradpour

Majid Alimoradpour opened to 20,000 from the hijack, and received a call from Frank Niermann in the small blind, before Samuel Bovy produced a three-bet to 103,000 from the big blind, leaving himself only 5,000 behind.

Alimoradpour took quite a bit of time to think things over, before he four-bet jammed, forcing out Niermann. Bovy quickly flicked in his remaining chip.

Samuel Bovy: AA All in
Majid Alimoradpour: K10

Bovy had woken up with the goods, but the KJ4 flop gave him cause for concern.

The 7 turn was a brick, but the 10 hit on the river to send Alimoradpour the pot with two pair, who gave the table a thump in celebration when the river landed.

Iannei Goes Out the Backdoor

Level 20 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Abedel Douair shoved from early position for 118,000 and Antonio Iannei called in the hijack for his stack of 40,000.

Antonio Iannei: AK All in
Abedel Douair: A10

Iannei was in a great spot to effectively triple up with his big slick, and his chances got better as the 895 flop missed both players. A J on the turn did give Douair a straight draw, which he completed on the Q river, ending Iannei's run.

Julien Ghezala

A chunky pot of at least 210,000 had developed by the river on a board of Q101097, in a hand between Julien Ghezala and Valerio Parodo, both in middle position.

Ghezala slid out a bet of 115,000, and Parodo called relatively quickly.

Ghezala tabled 88 for two pair, tens and eights, and that was good enough to force Parodo to muck.

Saloustros Doubles via Garcia; Reynolds Laments Fold

Level 20 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Emmanouil Saloustros jammed from early position for 93,000, and Murilo Garcia three-bet jammed for around 170,000 from the button.

Scott Reynolds was in the big blind, and he took at least two minutes contemplating his decision, before electing to fold.

Emmanouil Saloustros: AQ All in
Murilo Garcia: AJ

Saloustros had Garcia dominated, and made top pair on the Q96 flop.

"Sh*t!" exclaimed Reynolds when he saw the flop, the A turn giving Saloustros top two pair and leaving Garcia drawing dead, with the 10 river completing the board.

"I had pocket nines", said Reynolds as Saloustros raked in the pot.
