Salerno Starts the Day With Quads

Level 16 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Elia Salerno
Elia Salerno

Elia Salerno raised to 17,000 on the button before Bastian Bluem three-bet to 100,000 in the big blind. Salerno then moved all in for 312,000, and Bluem snap-called.

Elia Salerno: QQ All in
Bastian Bluem: AK

It was a classic flip, and Salerno hit top set on the Q104 flop while Bluem picked up a straight draw. The turn was the 3, while the Q fell on the river to give Salerno quads and earn him an early double up.
