At the same time at another table, Safwane Bahri got in his last 120,000 from the cutoff and Grzegorz Flak put him at risk in the small blind.

Pichierri Takes from Flak

With around 80,000 already in the pot, Grzegorz Flak and Alessandro Pichierri were both staring at a board of 7984. Flak was first to act from the cutoff and opted to check. Pichierri made a bet of 45,000, and Flak stuck around with a call.

A 8 appeared on the river, causing both players to check. Flak turned over A7 for a pair of sevens, and was second best to Pichierri's A9 for a pair of nines.

Di Nicola Wins the Battle of Small Pairs Against Ufano
