Moncek Survives the Madness in Three-Way All-In

Level 11 : Blinds 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante
Michael Moncek
Michael Moncek

Michael Moncek had three unlucky, lucky hands in a row. First, he lost almost his entire stack against a set.

The next hand he found himself all in for 12,000 against Mustapha Kanit and ended up splitting the pot on a 882K2 board with no improvement for either player.

In the following hand, Moncek went blind all in under the gun. Martin Kabrhel, who had just sat down at the table, moved all in for 100,000 in the cutoff, and Mustapha Kanit called both players from the small blind.

Michael Moncek: 76All in
Martin Kabrhel: AJAll in
Mustapha Kanit: 66

The board ran out 7598Q, giving Moncek and Kanit a straight to split the main pot, while Kanit took the side pot from Kabrhel.

Level 12 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

The pot stood at around 75,000 and the board showed 410104. Marcos Skerl in the big blind bet 28,000 and was called by Juho Suutari under the gun.

The A river completed the board and Skerl fired another bet of 77,000. Suutari thought it over before making the call, only to be shown Q10 by Skerl for a full house. Suutari’s cards went into the muck, leaving him with crumbs.

Level 12 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Martin Kabrhel
Martin Kabrhel

The cards were on their backs for Michael Moncek in the big blind and Ole Schemion in middle position. Moncek had some emotional support from Martin Kabrhel at the neighboring table.

Michael Moncek: AJAll in
Ole Schemion: A9

Despite being ahead preflop, the board ran out K93QK, giving Schemion two pair and sending Moncek to a re entry.

Kabrhel could be heard with his usual “Not like that!” chants, while also hoping Moncek would end up at his table since there was an empty seat right next to him. That is exactly what happened, and Moncek is now back in the tournament seated beside Kabrhel.
