In the first hand, Johan Guilbert clashed with Rui Figueiredo on a board of 510393. Guilbert held AQ and Figueiredo had AK. Figueiredo doubled up, leaving Guilbert with less than 200,000 behind.

In the very next hand, Guilbert found himself all in again, this time against Michel Molenaar. Guilbert again had AQ, while Molenaar held A3 and improved to two pair on the 7A3K8 board, leaving Guilbert with crumbs.

A few hands later, Guilbert was all in once more, this time against Scott Bohlman. Guilbert had Q7 and Bohlman 87. The board ran out 5KJ36, and this time the queen fell in Guilbert’s favor, securing him a double up and giving him another chance in the tournament.

A few hands later, he busted.
