Keep Calm, Karry On

McLean Karr: tie like my Grandma's 70's wallpaper
McLean Karr: tie like my Grandma's 70's wallpaper

And just like that - pwah - he's gone...

Amit Makhija is eliminated by McLean Karr after a five-level grind and final comeback which bumped him into a slight lead only to catapult him into last-man-standing almost immediately as Makhija fires a big bluff and gets it called.

On a {8-Spades} {4-Hearts} {J-Spades} flop, Karr bet out 17,800 and Makhija thought about it quietly for a good while before finally moving his whole stack (c.80k) in. Karr looked like he'd bitten into a raw onion, but called quickly nevertheless.

Makhija: {10-Clubs} {7-Clubs}
Karr: {A-Clubs} {J-Hearts}

Turn and river: {K-Hearts}...{Q-Spades} meaning that the chip leader for most of the day now beat a hasty retreat while Karr fills out one of those little pieces of paper which say, "Come back at 7pm."
