Feldman in a Hole

The flop read {2-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{7-Spades} at the start of an epic hand that would last the best part of 10 minutes. Andrew Feldman checked the flop before calling 18,000 from Gus Hansen.

Feldman check-called another 37,000 from Hansen on the {7-Diamonds} turn, and he checked again on the {q-Diamonds} river - this time the bet from Hansen was 74,000. Feldman had 300,000 left to his name.

Now began the epic tankage from Feldman. His sunglasses came off and he stared at the felt, Hansen nonchalantly playing with a stack of chips as Feldman squirmed. Feldman eventually made a noise like a horse that wants another go at the nosebag - but did nothing, tanking for several minutes more instead.

Eventually he folded, and is now in a very deep hole that he might have some trouble hoisting himself out of.
