The Final Starting Flight of the Wynn Fall Classic $3,500 Championship Starts at Noon

The final starting flight of the Wynn Fall Classic $3,500 Championship gets underway at noon local time today.

The third and final starting flight presents the next opportunity for players to earn their seats for a Day 2 birth.

Friday's first starting flight saw 341 entries take to the felt while yesterday's Day 1b saw another massive 554 added to the tally, bringing the two-day total up to 895.

Just like the previous starting flights, players will receive a starting stack of 40,000and levels will be of 40-minutes in length for the duration of the tournament.

Players will get 10-minute breaks after every three levels with late registration/re-entries remaining available until the start of Level 10 (7:30 p.m.) and players are allowed unlimited re-entries until that point.

As for the happenings on the first two days, Day 1a had the only three players to bag north of 600k with Naor Slobodskoy holding the top spot with 679,000 while Katie Lindsay (644,000) currently sits second in chips and Kenneth McKeown (634,000) sits in third.

So far, there're 157 players currently on the Day 2 roster with three-time WSOP bracelet winner Kristen Bickenll (549,000), and Leonardo Patacconi (500,00), being the only other players to bag north of 500k.

A series of preflop raises saw Lychhean Phenh call off his 30,000 stack from the hijack after Sonny Lee four-bet jammed from the hijack.

Lee was ahead and paired his ace on the flop, but it also gave Phenh a diamond flush draw.

The turn gave Phenh more outs as it paired his seven but the completed the board on the river and exited the tournament field.

There was heads-up action between David Pham and Pavlo Veksler with a completed board of board showing.

With over 10,000 already in the middle, Veksler jammed and Pham called off his 8,200 stack.

Sengphet Doubles After Race

A series of preflop raises saw La Sengphet three-bet jam for 11,500 from the small blind and she was called by the hijack player.

Sengphet was behind holding two overs until the flop fell pairing her jack.

The turn was safe for Sengphet, as was the that followed on the river and she collected her double-up.

Norton's Set is Better

There was heads-up action between Chad Norton from middle position and his opponent seated directly to his left with a board showing.

With over 9,000 already in the middle, Norton check-jammed for roughly 45,000 after his opponent fired out a 6,500 bet and his opponent called off the rest of their 15,900 stack.

Guay Flops Case King to Double Through Vo While Soderstrom Rebuys

Viet Vo raised to 2,100 from late position, Tomas Soderstrom three-bet all in for 17,000 from the hijack and David Guay four-bet jammed for roughly 50,000 from the big blind.

Action was back on Vo who called after some careful thought and the three players tabled their hands.

Guay was ahead with his cowboys and even though a ten appeared in the window on the flop, there was a king underneath keeping Guay out in front.

The turn left Soderstrom needing the case ten but the completed the board on the river and he reentered the tournament while Guay collected the pot.

The late registration/re-buy period has ended for the Wynn Fall Classic $3,500 Championship and Day 1c dragged in 880 entries, bringing the three-day total to 1,775.

The $3,000,000 guarantee was completely smashed as the 1,775 total entries generated a total prize pool of $5,724,375.

The top 188 players will make it into the money earning at least $7,860 with each payouts increasing until the eventual champion earns themselves $812,270.

2019 WSOP Main Event Champ Ensan Flushed by Kottler

There was heads-up action after a flop between Hossein Ensan from the small blind and Jeremy Kottler from the cutoff.

There was roughly 45,000 already in the middle when Ensan jammed his 110,000 stack in the middle and Kottler called holding 139,000.

Greenblatt Dusted by Min Late

Alexander Greenblatt raised to 11,000 from the hijack and then called the 35,000 three-bet Jason Min made from the big blind.

The flop saw Min continue for 24,000 and Greenblatt called bringing the turn.
