Maxi Lehmanski
Maxi Lehmanski

Eli Berg raised to 240,000 from under the gun and Max Lehmanski shoved from middle position for over 1,000,000. Action folded around and Berg called.

Max Lehmanski: {a-Spades}{q-Spades}
Eli Berg: {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}

The board ran out {k-Spades}{10-Hearts}{7-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} and Berg eliminated Lehmanski in seventh place for $90,274 with a pair of kings. Ever the sportsman, Lehmanski stood up and gave each player a "gg" as he packed his things and made his way to the payout window.

Zachary McDiarmid
Zachary McDiarmid

Zachary McDiarmid opened to 240,000 in the cutoff and Chris Frank defended the big blind.

The flop was {10-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} and Frank check-called a 250,000 bet.

The {4-Clubs} came on the turn and after Frank checked, McDiarmid shoved. Frank instantly announced call, and seemed like he would've called even faster if it was possible, while hands were revealed.

Chris Frank: {q-Clubs}{2-Clubs}
Zachary McDiarmid: {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}

Frank turned the flush but McDiarmid could still catch a club for a better flush. However, the {2-Hearts} harmless completed the board to send McDiarmid to the rail with an eighth-place finish.

Frank Doubles With Straight Over Cheong's Trips

Level 28 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Chris Frank
Chris Frank

Joseph Cheong limped the small blind and Chris Frank checked his option.

The {10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} flop saw a check-raise from Cheong after Frank bet 150,000. Cheong made it 475,000 and Frank called.

On the {q-Clubs} turn, Cheong bet 600,000 and Frank called.

The {4-Spades} completed the board and Cheong jammed. Frank quickly called off his 1,440,000 chips and turned over the {j-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} for a turned straight. Cheong showed the {a-Spades}{9-Hearts} before the cards went into the muck and Frank received the full double.

Zachary McDiarmid raised to 200,000 from the button and Z Stein called from the big blind.

The flop was {7-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} and Stein bet 530,000, leaving one T-25,000 chip behind. McDiarmid placed enough chips in the middle to cover Stein, but he said "call", so the call was enforced. Stein went all-in blind with his last chip and the turn was {q-Hearts}.

McDiarmid called the 25,000 chip and turned over {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts} while Stein tabled {k-}{7-}. McDiarmid flush draw came through with {9-Hearts} on the river, and Stein was eliminated from the tournament in ninth place for $63,024.

Adam Monaghan

With about 450,000 in the pot and a {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} flop, Adam Monaghan got the rest of his 600,000 or so chips in from the big blind against Garrett Greer on the button.

Adam Monaghan: {j-Spades}{10-Hearts}
Garrett Greer: {k-Spades}{9-Spades}

Monaghan had middle pair and a gutter draw but he was up against two pair. The {2-Spades} turn left him needing a queen or a jack to stay alive, but the {7-Clubs} completed the board to send the Aussie to the rail in 10th for $53,742.

The final nine players are now moving to the final table.

The top 17 players finished in the money, and some of those to cash but fall short of the final table were Romain Lewis (15th - $8,014), Shannon Shorr (13th - $9,055), and final table bubble boy Chance Kornuth (10th - $10,323), just to name a few.

The final table was an international affair, and the tournament concluded when Bulgaria's Boris Kolev defeated Germany's Daniel Smiljkovic in heads-up play to win a $131,548 top prize plus $88,000 in bounties.
