Zajdner Off to Good Start

Level 2 : 100/200, 200 ante

Viliyan Petleshkov opened to 300 from under the gun and faced a three-bet to 700 by Mark Zajdner from late position. Action folded back around to Petleshkov, who made the call.

Petleshkov checked to the three-bettor on a flop of {2-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} and called after Zajdner continued for 600.

The {q-Spades} turn saw Petleshkov check for a second time and Zajdner, unwilling to slow down, fired off 1,600. Petleshkov was going nowhere just yet and again called.

On the {7-Diamonds} river Petleshkov checked once more and then went into the tank after Zajdner, with no hesitation, tossed 6,700 into the middle. Eventually, Petleshkov tossed his hand away. "Show the bluff," said another player at the table to Zajdner, who obliged, turning over {j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}, while remarking that he "just wants you to know I'm capable of it".
