Lew's Misclick Costs Her a Pot; Doubles on the Next Hand

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Robbi Jade Lew
Robbi Jade Lew

There was a raise to 2,000 from under the gun and three players called including Robbi Jade Lew in the big blind. The flop came {10-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{6-Spades} and Lew splashed in a bet of 4,000, at first thinking she was all in. Lew actually had 10,000 chips behind and when it was folded to Jake Daniels on the button, he laughed with Lew before calling.

The turn brought the {8-Hearts} and both players checked to the {9-Clubs} on the river. Lew checked again and Daniels shoved all in, forcing Lew to fold her cards. Daniels collected the pot and showed the {j-Clubs} for the better straight.

"Don't write that one down! It was a mistake," Lew said to PokerNews. As the next hand was being dealt, Lew indicated that more action was coming. "Write this one down though!"

Daniels proceeded to raise to 2,100 and Lew shoved all in for her last 10,000. The big blind flat-called and Daniels got out of the way.

Robbi Jade Lew: {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}
Opponent: {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}

Lew was in a dominating position and the board of {j-Spades}{7-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{k-Spades} ensured her of a double-up in order to stay alive.

Rezaei Gets a Full Double in Multi-Way Pot

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

There was a raise to 2,000 in early position and four players called including Daniel Rezaei in the cutoff. The flop came {9-Spades}{8-Clubs}{7-Clubs} and the original raiser continued with a bet of 5,000 which only Rezaei called.

The turn was the {4-Spades} and Rezaei was faced with another bet of 11,000. Rezaei called and the {9-Hearts} paired the board on the river. It was checked to Rezaei this time and he shoved all in for his last 15,000. His opponent snap-called and Rezaei tabled {10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} for the best hand.

Piccioli Flops a Set to Send One Packing

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Bryan Piccioli raised it up in the hijack and the big blind ripped all in for around 16,000. Piccioli quickly called and the cards were face up on the felt.

Big Blind: {k-Clubs}{10-Spades}
Bryan Piccioli: {6-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}

The flop came {a-Hearts}{6-Spades}{4-Spades} and Piccioli flopped a set of sixes to take a commanding lead. The {5-Diamonds} on the turn left his opponent drawing dead to the {7-Spades} on the river.

Piccioli Sends Coleman To The Rebuy Desk

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

After a series of back and forth bets preflop all the chips went in the middle between Bryan Piccioli and David Coleman, who was the player at risk for his last roughly 30,000.

David Coleman: {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}
Bryan Piccioli: {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}

It was a classic flip situation and when the board ran out {5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{7-Spades}, it was the jacks that held up for Piccioli to send Coleman to the rebuy desk for a fresh stack of 40,000.

Lin Looks Up Yau

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

The action folded around to Ethan Yau who limped in from the small blind and Ren Lin checked his option in the big blind.

The flop came {9-Hearts}{5-Spades}{4-Hearts} and Yau check-called a bet of 1,200 from Lin. On the {j-Hearts} turn both players checked to the {6-Clubs} river. Yau elected to lead out for 3,600, and without much thought Lin made the call.

Yau rolled over {k-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} for king-high and Lin took the pot with {9-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} for a pair of nines.

Mandavia Faces Big Bet

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Ankush Mandavia opened the action to 2,600 from early position and it folded around to the small blind who made the call.

The flop fanned out {10-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} and the small blind decided to lead out for a big bet of 10,000. Mandavia took a few seconds before tossing in chips for the call.

On the {k-Clubs} turn the small blind moved all in for 76,600 and Mandavia went in the tank. After looking at his cards and the board a few more times, Mandavia eventually folded and the pot was sent to his opponent.

"Good bet," Mandavia said as he smiled to his opponent collecting the pot.

Top 5 Casino Movies You Must Watch

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

There has been no shortage of movies over the decades portraying the glamor, grit, and decadence of the casino world, from high-stakes nosebleeds to underground games.

Some of the movies that provide the most honest, hilarious, or entertaining looks at the gambling world include Ocean's Eleven (2001), Owning Mahowny (2003), The Cooler (2003), The Hangover (2009), Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (1998) and Uncut Gems (2019).

But none of these great movies made PokerNews' list of the five best casino movies of all time.

Note: This list deliberately does not include any poker movies, so don't get angry when you don't see classics Rounders and Mississippi Grind. PokerNews already made a list of the five best poker movies of all time.

Black Arrives to a Stacked Table and Wins a Pot

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Taylor Black just got moved to a new table and it wasn't the table he was hoping for. Over on table 46, there is some healthy competition making it no doubt the toughest table in the room.

Black wasted no time getting in on the action when he raised it up from middle position and was called by Jesse Lonis in the cutoff. The flop came {j-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{2-Clubs} and Black check-called a bet of 2,500 from Lonis.

The turn brought the {a-Spades} and Black led out with a bet of 7,000. Lonis counted his stack and deliberated for a minute before tossing his cards to the muck.
