Yang's Set of Kings Hold for a Double

Level 21 : Blinds 15,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Zhigang Yang opened to 55,000 in early position and was called by Vlastimil Pustina in the cutoff and Sara Ralston in the big blind. The flop came {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} and Yang continued with a bet of 55,000. Pustina and Ralston both called to see the {8-Hearts} on the turn.

Ralston checked and Yang sized up a bet of 250,000 on the turn. Pustina stepped aside but Ralston jammed all in. Yang instantly called off his stack of 635,000 and the cards were tabled.

Zhigang Yang: {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}
Sara Ralston: {q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}

Yang flopped a set of kings but Ralston still had plenty of outs with a combo draw. However, the {7-Spades} bricked the river and Yang earned himself a double-up, leaving Ralston short in the process.

Wong Flops a Flush to Double Through Alegado

Level 21 : Blinds 15,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Harvey Alegado raised to 50,000 in middle position and Danny Wong shipped all in for 270,000 on his left. The action folded back to Alegado who quickly called to put Wong at risk.

Danny Wong: {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}
Harvey Alegado: {j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}

The flop came {10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} and Wong flopped a flush to take a commanding lead. The {2-Spades} on the turn left Alegado drawing dead to the {q-Clubs} on the river as Wong doubled up.

Sabe Shoves on Bronshtein

Level 21 : Blinds 15,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Yuval Bronshtein and Joseph Sabe were heads-up in the blinds on a flop of {q-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{4-Hearts}. Sabe tossed in a bet of 50,000 from the big blind and Bronshtein check-raised to 175,000. Sabe called and the {2-Hearts} landed on the turn.

Bronshtein fired out another bet of 115,000 and Sabe stuck around to see the {k-Spades} on the river. Bronshtein checked this time and Sabe shoved all in. Bronshtein instantly mucked his cards and Sabe climbed to 4,000,000 chips.

Ingles Scores Huge Double Up; Snead Eliminated On Next Hand

Level 21 : Blinds 15,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Pedro Ingles
Pedro Ingles

The action folded to Pedro Ingles on the button who opened for 55,000 and Paul Snead bumped it up in the big blind for 175,000. Ingles moved all in for 610,000 total and Snead made the call with a slightly bigger stack.

Pedro Ingles: {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}
Paul Snead: {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades}

Snead was in need of help against the big slick for Ingles and when the board ran out {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{10-Spades}{9-Hearts}, the ace-king held up to score a full double up and leave Snead with only 40,000.

On the next hand, Snead would get his remaining chips in the middle and couldn't find improvement, sending him to the rail in 41st place.

Pustina Chooses the Wrong Customer to Fight Against

Level 21 : Blinds 15,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

The action folded to Calvin Anderson in the small blind who just limped in. Vlastimil Pustina checked his option and the flop of {q-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{8-Hearts} was fanned across the felt.

Anderson led out with a bet of 50,000 and Pustina raised to 160,000. Anderson replied with a three-bet to 350,000 and Pustina quickly dumped his cards to the muck.

Al Janedi Celebrates Too Early

Level 21 : Blinds 15,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Sameer Al Janedi was the short stack in the room with just 145,000 chips and he pushed all in from the hijack. It folded all the way to Mitchell Halverson in the big blind who flicked in some chips to call.

Sameer Al Janedi: {q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}
Mitchell Halverson: {j-Hearts}{10-Spades}

Al Janedi rose from his seat in anticipation but he was in good shape to double up. The {5-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{2-Clubs} flop was also favorable as he picked up a flush draw. The {j-Clubs} on the turn gave Al Janedi a flush and he went to sit back down in his seat. However, the {j-Spades} on the river gave Halverson a full house and Al Janedi was ousted.
