Timothy Pai got his last 925,000 into the middle against the growing stack of David Dowdy. The rest of the table was out of the way and the dealer was ready to go.
Timothy Pai: A♥K♥
David Dowdy: A♦Q♦
The board ran out 4♦5♦7♦J♦4♣ and Dowdy flopped a flush to send Pai home in 15th place for $32,918.
Jake Ripnick raised to 100,000 from late position and Chris Frank called from the button before Dominick Sarle came along from the small blind. Jeremy Felicetti raised to 400,000 from the big blind and Ripnick went into the tank before shoving 950,000. The others folded and Felicetti called quickly.
Jake Ripnick: 7♦7♠
Jeremy Felicetti: K♠K♥
The board ran out A♥6♥5♦5♥6♣ and the kings held for Felicetti to send Ripnick to the rail in 16th place for $28,276.
Martin Zamani, who bagged 2,700,000 as the Day 2 chip leader, has issued a correction to 2,600,000 due to a miscount. It didn't matter much after an early three-handed pot.
A big pot had formed in the middle with over 200,000 and the board showed 8♦3♦J♥. Zamani fired 100,000 to quick folds from Abbas Heidari and Michel Molenaar to take the pot.
On a nearby table, Action was heads up with over 200,000 in the pot and Q♦4♣K♠7♠ when Rick Green check-called a bet of 115,000 from Shawn Daniels to his left. Both players checked the 6♦ river and Daniels turned over K♣10♣ to beat Green's J♠10♥.
Meanwhile, Ken Einiger and Nicholas Seward have been eliminated in the early going.
