July 12 Recap: Schoenberg, Keijzer, and Locquet Claim Trophies
Just two days remain in what has been an entertaining 2025 Wynn Summer Classic. Two more events are in store on Sunday before the series wraps on Monday. But before we look ahead, we must look back at Saturday's results and celebrate the three newest champions.
Those three individuals are Jeremy Schoenberg, Ronald Keijzer, and Romain Locquet. They all won tournaments late Saturday night that surpassed the prize pool guarantees, a trend throughout the Wynn Summer Classic. Let's take a look at how it all went down yesterday in Las Vegas.
Jeremy Schoenberg Claims NLH Title
The action kicked off at noon from Wynn-Encore with an $1,100 No-Limit Hold'em event, featuring a $100,000 guaranteed prize pool. As per usual, the pot surpassed the guarantee ($115,050) with 118 entrants registered.
When all was said and done, Schoenberg was the only player who still had chips. He won $31,636 and now has nearly $300,00 in live tournament cashes, according to The Hendon Mob. The championd defeated Tetsuro Tomita heads-up to close things out. A runner-up finish was worth $20,042.
Lorenzo Santos (third place for $13,864), Jamie Dalupan (fourth place for $10,124), and Glenn Cozen (fifth place for $7,496) rounded out the top five.

Keijzer Conquers Massive PLO Field
No-limit hold'em wasn't the only game played on Saturday at the Wynn Summer Classic. An $1,100 Pot-Limit Omaha 6-Max tournament was spread, and it came with a $50,000 guarantee. That guarantee was completely obliterated after reaching 351 entries, creating a $342,225 prize in the 1 p.m. tournament.
Keijzer came out on top in this large-field event, a run that ended with a $67,850 payday. He beat Arie Kliper, who received $45,261, heads-up to close out the win. Zachary Schwartz (third place for $34,811), Ankush Khandelwal (fourth place for $27,281), Dan Komem (fifth place for $21,165), and Yaser Al-Keliddar (sixth place for $16,110) also reached the final table.

Locquet, a French poker player who cashed in 164th place in the World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event last week, took down the title for a $49,087 payday. The winner beat Linus Goh heads-up for the win, while Goh earned $30,349 for his near win.
