In the last hand before the break, Austin Apicella opened to 65,000 from under the gun and picked up four callers along the way. The flop came J75 and the action checked around to the 7 on the turn.

Apicella was the first to take a stab at the pot with a bet of 90,000. Peter Cross called on his left and Chahn Jung check-raised to 330,000 from the big blind. Apicella quickly folded but Cross used two time banks before ripping all in for 665,000. He was met with a snap-call from Jung and saw the bad news.
